In this video I discuss the importance of understanding a locations conditions and how this knowledge can be used to dramatically improve your landscape photography images.
I have had a long break from photography over the Australian Summer and now with the days getting cooler and the leaves beginning to turn and I am so eager to get back out with the camera and start to create some new work.
This year I am planning to film some of my outings and bring you guys along for the ride so you can see what I actually get up to out in the field.

Really enjoyed the video, great having someone who understands the Australian bush and its complexities, which often make landscape photography difficult. Loved that last shot looking up into the trees. I'm looking forward to the next one.

The conditions are my favourite too although I’ve not been able to articulate it as clearly. My camera has been sitting idle for most of the summer…feeling invigorated again. Thank you .

Very good with your tone, talk rate and info. It's just like talking to a friend. Professional feel to the editing. Loved both of the pic's of the hut now and in the snow. Both bring a different feel and was lovely seeing them side by side. I would be interested to see the difference between just taking a shot and one where you showed us how you focused on the trunks in the foreground with the background blurred.
Loved how you reminded us to look up. We often forget other aspects around us.
Really love seeing your end results and look forward to you catching photos of the brumbies and other wildlife.
