Ahhh, the good ole Zeiss 55mm F/1.8 ... such an underrated lens. I'm so annoyed that I sold it when I sold my last camera. I felt kinda pressured. Oh well. I do have the Zeiss 35mm F/1.4 .. she's just pretty hefty but a great lens in general. I just bought the RS4 and balanced it with the Tamron 28-75mm G2 and the 17-28mm Tamron (which is great because internal zoom) but I haven't tried a heavier lens on it yet lol. I might try to balance my 70-200 2.8 on it. Still have a long way to go of learning how to get smooth shots and feeling comfortable with it
ive been using the RS4 for a few months now and having an issue where when i tilt down it would be unbalanced and auto lock. balancing with this video FINALLY solved the issue! you have no idea how many headaches this caused me. you are my LIFE SAVER!!!
Bro thank God you came through with this. UA-cam needs to out this at the top of search for any mention of dji rs4. Dji needs to hire you for their tutorial
You just saved me Am shooting on Sunday, I went to teste my equipments tonight and couldn't set the RS4 It was very embarrassing But your detailed explanation I knew where I went wrong Thank you

@@DoubtMeTech Like literally my RS4 has been. sitting in the corner for 3 weeks out the box unused until I came across this video. Thank you. I had to take my cage off eventually.
Great video thank you! One thing I am unsure of and you didn’t really explain, as you unlock each axis to balance, do you then lock the other one? Or should all be unlocked please? I.e once balanced the tilt axis for eg, do i then keep that unlocked or lock it then unlock the roll axis etc? This was unclear. Sorry to ask!
@@DoubtMeTech thank you for replying. So go in the order you did them, all locked at first then as I do each axis, unlock that one, keep it unlocked, then onto the next one until all are unlocked at the end? Sorry for all the questions.
Thank you for good explaning it s really good and helpful. I have one question about it pan access, when I using the gimbal pan assess turning other way and stopping me, it actually make me crazy why do you think it is turning other side, because of my arm or hand position or holding the gimbal wrong or I need to set up from the iPhone Dji app?
My roll won’t tighten completely / when I try to move it right or left it falls back to the center. I tried pulling the pin out to the right and then turning it and nothing - any ideas?
I’m trying that but my gimbal won’t stay. I have the gimbal turned off and as soon as I unlock it, it’s completely lose and won’t hold the camera. Completely limp.
@@boogeyman2844 Yes. If time allows, I personally advise doing a new calibration when you change zoom, so the motors can be adjusted, but If you don't have time, yes you can continue to use it throughout the zoom range.

I purchased the newly released DJI RS4 Pro. I used it today, and the stability and operability were very good! The initial setting is very important!

Best video ever. On the tilt, never saw how to tight it more. Awesome.
Well on almost all same mechanism, not sure why DJI doesn't mention this.
Happy to help. Thanks for watching 🙏🙏
It might be simple, but it's not easy. But thank you for the one and only sufficient instructions I was able to find.

Unlock them one at a time, and do not lock them when done with that Axis. It should all be unlocked by the end
@@DoubtMeTech thank you for replying. So go in the order you did them, all locked at first then as I do each axis, unlock that one, keep it unlocked, then onto the next one until all are unlocked at the end? Sorry for all the questions.

thankyou so much for this Bro! Very helpful :) One thing, do i need to balance again if i go vertical?
Yes most definitely. If you change the lens. Add an accessory etc. Anytime there's a change in weight distribution, re-balance
@@DoubtMeTech thankyou so much! Would be great if you do the vertical balancing as well 🤣 or the process is just the same?
@@EdwardUmpaFilms same exact process once put into vertical position

Any luck with a z9? Definitely the heavier camera with the built in battery grip

i feel like no one has a good balance video of variable lens with the focus motor, maybe do one with that?
muy buena explicación. gracias valedor...i got it

me too. RS4 and sony A7IV+Sigma 24-70. Look forward to getting help
Same happens with mine, I never had issues with the RS2
But for some reason this axis never seems to balance regardless of the lens I use
4:30 need to be calibrated every time? I mean every switching on
Only when there's a change of weight/setup and you do new balancing
