@@SamLishiVlogs sir, watching your video we go plan to kashmir in january end. snow in january how long on.are you know any Tamil agency arrange tour PKG.if available please send number
@sasidharanr3272 Hi, end of Jan and early feb is a great time to visit Kashmir. There will be maximum snowfall during this time. Please keep checking the weather report around the dates that you’re planning to travel .Sometimes trains and flights do get cancelled because of inclement weather. If you are planning to go by train , I suggest that you do two sets of bookings with 15 days gap. If the first date has no weather problems, you can always cancel the second set of tickets. Travelling in Kashmir is very similar to travelling in Chennai. You have a lot of autorickshaws and taxi. Now they have introduced local buses also to help in your travel. travelling on a day package by taxi is also very comfortable. There are two ways to look for a travel agent. One, you can ask the travel desk in the hotel where you are planning to book your stay to offer you a package. It is very simple and easy. Otherwise, you can contact a travel agent separately and ask for a package. I totally travelled on my own, and it was not hard at all. If I come across a reliable travel agent, I will update the info here in the comment. Thank you and happy travelling.
Hi sir . Really you have covered all points. Thanks for that But few doubts we have .. 1. In which month did you go to kashmir and now they are asking 250 from Batmoola to Gulmarg. 2.From Jammu to Batboola bus stand at 6 pm if am reachs, if I will miss the train then is there share taxi available 24 hours or is there any time limit for share taxi? 3. I am planning to go to Kashmir in December, is there a lot of share taxi to Gulmueg or is there only specific share taxis and will I have to bump into the crowd if I go there? As well December we have snow occupied in gulmarg, so chain attached wheel cab we want to pick?
hi Bro, thanks for the appreciation. 1. I went in the first week of December, so there was no snow in the lower regions like Srinagar town or even in Tangmarg. Regarding the fare, every local pays only hundred. more money is demanded from tourists, so it totally depends on the season and the rush. If you go in a mini van, the price is a little lesser small vehicles charge a little more. again, the fairest seasonal, and it can even go upwards of ₹250. 2. Was your question about Jammu to Banihal?? I am assuming so, and I am answering. I believe the last train is at 6 PM. If you miss the train, then your options are share taxi, Mini bus and sleeper bus. There are some that starts from Banihal to Srinagar, but every bus or taxi that starts from Jammu has to cross Banihal.. So you should be able to get a seat in anyone of the bus or share taxi to go to Srinagar. The locals also keep travelling and so reaching Srinagar should not be a big challenge if you miss the train. 3. snowfall starts around the first week of December in Gulmarg. But for Tangmarg, which is the foothill of Gulmarg to receive snow, it will take at least the third week of December. if there is snow in Tangmarg and all the way up to Gulmarg, then you have to change the share taxi at Tangmarg. The ones that have chains on the tires will take you up to Gulmarg. But with today’s climatic change, you can also expect early snow in Tangmarg in December. Last year, there was no in the first week of December when I had been there, and after that, it’s snowed only in February. So I suggest you do this , have two sets of tickets booked. One for third week of December and the other for first week of January.. If snowfall is confirmed in December, cancel the January ticket and go in December. Or else, wait and go in January. As far as availability is concerned , it is all about demand. When there are more tourists, even other route operators will start to drive up to Gulmarg, so you will always have plenty of share taxes, but it will always be Full during season. It is a small adjustment, but it is safe and economical. I hope I have covered your questions bro, if you have any further questions, feel free to write. Thanks, and I wish you a happy journey..
Hi sir , Have one more doubt.. NH44 highway route do we use to travel from JAMMU to Banihal then many times they closed road due to landscape, heavy snowfall and maintenance tunnel work, it takes traffic more than an hour or 1 days also is it true? If this is true then how can we prevent it and if it is on the road active or not where we will check it? Tell us a little about the Jammu to Srinagar traffic.please , If you have local guide number or there any sites to check whether road is active or not, traffic is there .
Hi bro, road blocks are possible during monsoon but now very good roads are laid. The only way to know about blocks is at the spot only. Nobody can predict it. Yes, if landslides happen it can take from hours to days. Some times even heavy snowfall needs to be cleared. But it doesn’t happen every day. So don’t worry, make your plans and go ahead. No traffic issues in J&K. You also have local bus service now. Language is never a problem as all speak enough English. I don’t have any travel agent number with me. I did all my booking online. This year, I will be travelling to Shimla and Manali this month. Check out the Vlogs which are going to come very soon.
Hi bro, I have given the expenses list in the description. Other than train tickets, all other expenses like boating, room and food can be shared if you are going as a group.
