This is the fifth century ride that I am doing with this bike. This is the entry level bike , if one has a little more room in the budget, I would recommend the cardiac gunner pro, which is an alloy bike and comes with better Shimano derailleurs and better suspensions.

🙂🙂....tests so far has given 29 to 33 kms/lit in economy mode (befoer 1st service). Haven't tested in performance mode yet. On an average, it should give around 28-23 kms per lit depending on speed bro.

@sasidharanr3272 Hi, end of Jan and early feb is a great time to visit Kashmir. There will be maximum snowfall during this time. Please keep checking the weather report around the dates that you’re planning to travel .Sometimes trains and flights do get cancelled because of inclement weather. If you are planning to go by train , I suggest that you do two sets of bookings with 15 days gap. If the first date has no weather problems, you can always cancel the second set of tickets. Travelling in Kashmir is very similar to travelling in Chennai. You have a lot of autorickshaws and taxi. Now they have introduced local buses also to help in your travel. travelling on a day package by taxi is also very comfortable. There are two ways to look for a travel agent. One, you can ask the travel desk in the hotel where you are planning to book your stay to offer you a package. It is very simple and easy. Otherwise, you can contact a travel agent separately and ask for a package. I totally travelled on my own, and it was not hard at all. I stayed in Jahangir chowk in a hotel named ABC residency. Generally the hotels in Kashmir are well maintained. I got a double occupancy room for rupees 1300. Heater charges come as extra and you can take it only if you need it. There are also many hotels in the Lal chowk area and all around the dal Lake area. You also get hostel bunk bed stay for as low as 600 rupees per night. So you can get ample accommodation in Kashmir. OYO and booking.com are the best ways to book online. Alternately you can also stay in the boat house where according to the season, you can get rooms for as low as 1500 rupees. That can only be booked in person when you land in Kashmir. Tourism is on a high now and many hotels are mushrooming. In the days to come, accommodation will not be a problem.

Hi bro! Thanks for the encouragement. Yes, there are some important info about sim cards. Thankyou for highlighting bro. As you have mentioned, prepaid sim does not work in J&K. Only post paid sim works in J&K. I used two Airtel post paid sim. One in a 4G mobile and one in a 5G mobile phone. Interestingly, in some places, 4G mobile phone worked and not 5G phone. In other places 5G mobile phone worked and not 4G. Signal is an issue but you will get the signal at some point as you travel in a day. Only post paid sim works in J&K. No 1 in J&K - BSNL (widest coverage) No 2 in J&K - Airtel (strongest signal where coverage is present) No 3 in J&K - Jio If you have a prepaid sim here in TN, one can convert that to post paid during travel to J&K and then convert it back to pre paid after returning.
