    People often complain about the sliding mechanism of BG sights but to me, the fact that it is so hard to “slide” is a positive for me. Gives me a reassurance that it’s not going to move without me bearing down on it.

    If HHA changes that pin gap or makes it adjustable thats really it Game over. Thanks for this vid.

      I agree. I think a lot of manufacturers will be coming out with this option in the future.

    Have them both. HHA vertical roller wheel adjustment is better made. The black gold was not smooth at all. Also setting your top pin and second axis was much more intuitive on the HHA. Can’t go wrong with either.

      I agree. The HHA is very smooth. I’m excited to get it set up with my UV3 scope.

    You know you can take the sight housing off from the football shaped bracket and move the bracket over one whole set of holes, right? That is meant for bows with wide risers like any of the mathews vxr and newer models.

      Thats how I had my black gold set up on my V3 and hated it. The sight had a ton of flex on the front.

    I have both I thought I would stick with the black gold because their pins are so good but the sight tape on hha changed my mind and since I got it dialed in that things has been deadly accurate and took a lot less effort to get it there. I would agree with you that the two are close but for me the hha definitely ended up being better on my phase 4

      I think they are both great sights, but I do like the HHA tapes and roller wheel. It's super smooth, whereas the BG always hangs up about half way down.
      However, the adjustment pins on the BG and super bright pins keeps me coming back to that sight.

    What’s not said in these reviews is to get your bottom pin on the Black Gold set for an even number like 40 yards is to change your draw weight slightly. Like he said the pin my be a 43 yard mark and the top a 20 or 30. Arrow speed at 40 isn’t going to be a deal breaker on killing an animal anyway so adjusting the draw weight to match a true 40 yard mark is obvious. But who would have a 20 and a 40? A 30 and 40 would be a better setup?

      On the black gold dual track, you can set it up to have 10-yard increments. I currently have my set up for 20 and 30, and I also had it set at 30 and 40 when I shot TAC in 2022 without changing my setup.
      Maybe you were referring to the HHA with the fixed pins.

    Does the micro adjustment on hha lockdown ?!

    • @MichiganAmBushOutdoors
      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors  11 місяців тому

      Yes, the HHA has a tool-less lock, and the BG has a screw with lock washer.

    Knowing what you know now, If you only had the dual trac, would you spend the money to get the HHA or are they too close to make a big difference?

      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors  Рік тому

      Depends on what you want it for. For hunting and the occasional 3D shooting, no. I would stick with the BG.
      However if you are shooting 3D and long distance a lot in the off season, then it’s a great addition. I paired it with the UV Scope and I am really liking the setup so far.

    Is it possible to get a different mfg sight tape and use it on the dual trac?

    What’s the weight between the 2, with the dovetail?

      I'm not sure but I know the BG is lighter. I have the small UV scope on the HHA right now.
