You two are inspirational as a couple! I can't remember the last time enjoyed watching and listening to anyone talking about their life and everyday experiences. The two of you are absolute joys to visit with. I am a fan and at my age of 59 you have become my new "life coaches" Thank you both
Yes, please, do a video on your sticker shipping set up! I'm a crafter who sells her wares online and I'm trying to figure out how to streamline as we downsize and move into a fifth wheel!
Spotted Elephant not me. I feel the cold and I’m a bit of a princess I “need” a very warm house, a toilet and a shower. Cycling to the toilet is way past my comfort zone. Very interesting to follow what these guys are up to
India McMillan-Dickman haha I understand that! I would love to have something like this but a bit bigger. And I would need a boyfriend like hers and I’d be happy anywhere I’m sure 😂
Great Video very interesting. As a 63 year old my Wife and I have been part time RVers for over 25 years including traveling the AlCan highway 10,000 miles to the Kenai Peninsula for a month, in an Chevy S10 Pickup with a "Six Pack" truck camper on the back, no bathroom. Over the years we upgraded to a 30 foot toy hauler travel trailer and Chevy Duramax diesel pickup. After 8 years with the 14,000 LB toy hauler and $50,000 truck we got tired of parking it, not being able to get into some National Forest campgrounds and the expense. We sold the whole rig, bought a smaller 4 X 4 gas truck and a 17 foot toy hauler travel trailer which hauls our 1992 Harley Davidson FatBoy all over this Country! Our small toy hauler has a full bath and we dry camp for weeks or months at a time and we still watch Directv in it when it rains. We love your little wood stove as we have considered installing the exact stove in our little trailer but instead I removed the stock forced air 12V DC/propane heater and in stalled an Olympian wave-3 catalytic propane heater which does not need electricity to heat. I was also wondering if you have ever had to service your single axle on your Scamp as I always change the axle bearings on all of our trailers to USA made Timken bearings. I also install Timken bearings on all axles/wheels on my tow vehicles because we've seen far too many RVs on the side of the road with "non USA made" bearings. Keep up your good work and videos and Best wishes, Chris & Doreen, Northern California, Wine Country.
This video was awesome! They're my favorite! It kind of makes you see how it's possible to live nomadically and not make a big impact and live responsibly within the environment that you're in. Fantastic! And you two have such calming voices I love it. Plus Kemp's non expressions are hilarious
Hi Elsa and Barron! I really like your videos. I lost my left leg and I'm not able to camp. I really enjoy your videos. It gets me through my day. I'm always fascinated how you keep warm in the dead of winter. Thanks again!
Yes to Barron's geek-out and Elsa's sticker kit! I'd love to see a day in the life of Kamp, from his perspective. And how long do you plan on living like this?
LOVE to see more organization videos. and geeky videos. i am a girl-geek in a tiny apartment, not on your scale but too small for most. keeping things accessible and handy is always the tricky bit so you don't have to tear everything apart to find the things which are buried. and organizing the tech can be challenging. you guys ROCK!
I think that it is so cool that you are able to survive and live like this. You are so strong and hard working. This is a great way to save money. Thanks for sharing this.
Geek out with us Barron! Love Elsa's videos but it's always such a treat to watch videos of Barron and what get's him excited about the Scamp life. : )
I have been watching all your videos for 3 hours now. Everything Elsa cooks looks so delicious so I'm going produce shopping tomorrow lol, I love the recipes!
Im currently binge watching all of your videos so forgive me if you have already but TOTALLY YES talk about your stickers/anything art-business on the road. And of course, love to hear the geek out over your gear! Really looking into this lifestyle as a freelance illustrator.
Loving your videos. Just saw first one last night and I have already watched several. I love the freedom your lifestyle affords. Keep up the great content.
I found you guys watching about trailers and how to live in a small camper and I am enjoying all of your videos so far and how you upgrade the camper to your needs.
Very interesting & functional use of such a small space. I used to live in a very small cabin and later a tee-pee in British Columbia and a tricked out school bus in southern ID, but now I'm in a 1450 sq ft house and it would be difficult to go back to a small space. However, to tell the truth, I was actually much happier living like a gypsy when I didn't have so much stuff. Enjoy it as long as you can. Life is short.
I would totally recommend insulating the scamp. Sometimes people don’t think about it but insulating right makes you both cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. I live in an almost 60 year old single wide and insulating has made my life so much easier and cheaper. What used to take a swamp cooler and a bunch of fans was only one fan this year. And now as it’s gotten cold my heating bill is like 1/10th what it was last year.
We recently bought a goal zero power station and briefcase solar panel because of you guys having one. It has already been used when the we had straight line winds come through our town and knocked out the entire town of power during the 90 degree days.
You know what.. I've always wanted to do this someday. I know this is not a life style to raise a wonderful happy family but for me I'm all for it because life is to short so why not lived it to your full expectation. Love you guys video ☺
I'm almost done watching every single one of your videos. I really enjoyed them and I'm not going to lie I will probably watch some of them over again and I already have on some of them LOL I love how you're doing longer ones now instead of just like 3 minute videos. So yeah thank you for that and thank you for your content and sharing your life with us. Whenever I want to kind of Escape in almost like a virtual way I guess if you will, I know I can come to this channel. Anyway, God bless you guys as you continue on your journey wherever that may take you! 🤘💕 🙏 ✝ 😁 🐕 🚌⛺
@ 17:05 - Loved how impressed the Bf was right after Her OBD scanner review! Those blinky eyes say it all! Plz, a review on the supplement you both use day to day or seasonally etc.? Loves your channel as I am looking towards tiny house living!!! All the best. 😊💜🌺
I have learned SO much from you guys over the last 2 years. Thanks for being so awesome! Also, Barron, totally Geek out when Elsa goes to Belize! Love the organizing ideas!
Hi lads I've seen couple of yours video and they are awesome many ways eg interesting lifestyle you picked, gorgeous area with beautiful landscape, very professional video editing but the most important is you and your attitude to life. I wish you all the best and will follow you on UA-cam :)
Not sure who I got onto your channel but I am glad I did I have learned a lot from watching you. Loe the cooking you do and how easy you made the meals, your beadwork is beautiful - thanks for sharing
You two seem like awesome people....you need to come to Northern Michigan and the upper peninsula as well but in the summer. You would love it! God bless you two!
I saw the Buena Vista CO sticker during the video. Wonderful town. We stumbled upon it in January during our trip out of Canon City where we were staying before a conference in Colorado Springs.
Love you guys.... y'all have helped me set my sights on the most beautiful way to live a life that I have wanted for sometime myself... keep on rocking in the free world..😎✌
Much like a Canadian fellow, 'Slim Potatohead' who has run a Scamp from coast to coast in Canada and all over the USA in all seasons. He wore out one chassis on his Scamp, so had an aluminum one constructed & moved the body over to that.
You guys get an A+ for optimizing and compartmentalizing all your gear, srsly!!! I can't stop laughing at kamp's facial expressions. He's all "yeppers, i'm riding this crazy train with these weirdos and IDGAF." So. Cute. xoxo
Wow you two are totally organized lots of tuck away storage.Your Steve fire is so cozy looking and your dog I love because they always look like they are smiling.Happy trails an merry christmas
The BEST way to insulate a Scamp is to use rigid blue foam panels UNDER the camper. The floor is the worst. I am planning this mod on ours this winter as we take it to Canada often. If you really want to heat it well then look into Espar deisel heaters, very small and use little fuel. They are used on long haul trucks and in small boats. Would need an external fuel tank and it will run on very little battery power. About $1000, I know I know... But do look at the blue foam on the bottom, cheap and easy. Though I have not done it yet I am quite sure it will work very well.
I don't know about the Berkey, but Sawyer filters warn users to protect them from freezing. The filter material can get cracks in it when it freezes and then it quits being a filter. Hikers will sometimes keep them in their sleeping bag with them at night to keep them warm.
You should build a portable shower. Use a under the bed plastic tub for clothing thats 2-3 feet long by 6 inches high to catch grey water then dump the water in a jug. Use that 6 gallon canteen as your water source with a small water pump for a fountain to get water on you. Hang hook to ceiling for curtain. Lived in a tractor trailer otr this helps when your stuck.
Hello, love the organisation....We just received our Berkey about 5 days ago. OMG the water is so refreshing and oh just so yummy. We live in our van in Australia and our Berkey cost $525.00 for the travel size but it was worth every cent we paid for it....Great tour. Love the head lamp well look into them....love and hugs❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I like the idea of hearing more about the sticker process. I have 2 of your stickers. I am pretty sure I saw some at my REI, here in Houston. I could be wrong, but they looked the same. Stay warm!!
Ok, so far I've ordered the frother, mini lights and dash mount. I give props to you for staying in Colorado for the winter. We are in Arizona for the winter, we run from the cold.
You honestly make my favorite content on UA-cam and I like to think that I would be friends with you and Barron🤗 you’re awesome people doing awesome things!
Nice tour! I bought the frother after seeing you two use it, it’s wonderful! Also we have a Berkey filter and I Love It! Had it going on two years now and it filters like a fiend. Its a great investment and gives me piece of mind to know my water does not contain harmful chemicals. And yes would like to see a video of your sticker kit along with any organizing Baron has done. 👍🏼
Kamp needs to host a video. Like a day in the life of Kamp/all about Kamp. Never has there been a cuter pup!
Singrkel agreed
Singrkel,
Best idea yet!
They finally did EXACTLY THAT and OMG BEST VIDEO EEEEVVEEERRRRR!!! Totally turned my sh*t day around!
😄🐕💕
✌
They did one its so cute
Dude my realtor wasn’t that thorough on my 3100 sq ft house and you two made a super interesting 30 min tour of a damn 13ft trailer. So awesome
That dog is the star of the show. He just sits there like, "I run this place and these humans don't even know it" AWESOME!
If he had thumbs he could afford to have more of an attitude.
He's clearly a cat
Shibattitude
“Well hello internet!” I love it! Like the “oh, I didn’t see you there”. So good, even rewatched for the 10th time!
At the intro, Baron needed a silk robe and an ascot when he said "hello internet". perhaps a pipe too.
You two are inspirational as a couple! I can't remember the last time enjoyed watching and listening to anyone talking about their life and everyday experiences. The two of you are absolute joys to visit with.
I am a fan and at my age of 59 you have become my new "life coaches" Thank you both
I am one of your fans.I would like to do the same thing.Wy you do not have your Mini anymore?
two years already!? crazy!! thanks for teaching, inspiring, and allowing us to live vicariously through you two.
Insulation works for Summer heat also!
The Scamp looks absolutely adorable with the smoke coming out of the chimney in the snow!
Yes, please, do a video on your sticker shipping set up! I'm a crafter who sells her wares online and I'm trying to figure out how to streamline as we downsize and move into a fifth wheel!
Thanks for the feedback!!! I will try to make a video about this in the next week!!
So interesting and inspiring! Who else wishes they could live this way?

@@denamullen340 I wouldnt mind living like this with you. 😋😋😋 I need to escape from this rat race from where i am from.
I really like this style of life and I would live it if I could make myself get rid of all my clutter.
TheFinrod81 ok lets go! I’m ready!
Very inspired... writing from grey London with a 9-5 office job zzzzzzzz dreaming of scamp life!

Can't help comparing this video to when you first moved into the Scamp! You guys come a long way. Thanks for bringing us along.
I found you guys watching about trailers and how to live in a small camper and I am enjoying all of your videos so far and how you upgrade the camper to your needs.
I really enjoy both of your personalities! You seem like good people. :) Also your setup is impressively creative and purposeful!
Man you have amazing blue eye and I really love how simple you are.

I'm glad you guys got one of those heat powered fans. They make a big difference.
We’ve had one from the beginning 😊

I saw the Buena Vista CO sticker during the video. Wonderful town. We stumbled upon it in January during our trip out of Canon City where we were staying before a conference in Colorado Springs.
I love watching you guys. I love how you are completely happy on the bare minimum and appreciate life for what it is and not what you can buy
Love you guys.... y'all have helped me set my sights on the most beautiful way to live a life that I have wanted for sometime myself... keep on rocking in the free world..😎✌
I like that you can live simply...some people can live off grid for a short time but have not mastered it full time in Colorado in the winter....
I love you guys. Barron has the best sense of humor and always makes me laugh.
Yes! Please geek out ! I'd love to see.
Definitely want to see a sticker kit vid! I’m very interested to see how you manage a online business on the road. Looking forward to more content thx

I, honestly, need a frother!! LOL
It's been in my shopping cart for like a year.
Once a frother, always a frother 🙅🏼♀️
I want to buy one now too! Elsa, can you link one like yours?
LOVE my frother! I've had it for a year or so and use it almost daily.
Mine too😂
bed bath and beyond
Wow you two are totally organized lots of tuck away storage.Your Steve fire is so cozy looking and your dog I love because they always look like they are smiling.Happy trails an merry christmas
Insulation will also help in the summer time too, it helps keep the heat out.
Dive, Barron, Dive! I want to see everything!

WOW!!! ONE THING FOR CERTAIN, YOU MAKE USE OF YOUR SPACE!! GREAT!!!
Yes Baron geek out on that organization skills of yours
I actually want to live like you 2 except just me, I like dense forest and find myself to be much happier outside then in a city
I love your tours as I learn how to sort discard and organize. Keep rockin'
How cute that little fireplace.
Loved the video! Wonderful to see your faces and hear your voices! Love Aunt Cindy & Fred
Looooove you Cindy!!!!!!
I don't know about the Berkey, but Sawyer filters warn users to protect them from freezing. The filter material can get cracks in it when it freezes and then it quits being a filter. Hikers will sometimes keep them in their sleeping bag with them at night to keep them warm.
erik scott hadn’t thought of that. 🤔
My wife kicks off at me Daily about how small our kitchen is. Our kitchen is bigger than your entire house.
Great video guys, I envy your life
You should build a portable shower.
Glad to see your CO detector- and that it isn’t stuck in a cupboard like I see from time-to-time
Hello, love the organisation....We just received our Berkey about 5 days ago. OMG the water is so refreshing and oh just so yummy. We live in our van in Australia and our Berkey cost $525.00 for the travel size but it was worth every cent we paid for it....Great tour. Love the head lamp well look into them....love and hugs❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
post on geek geer and stickers
PLEASE
"Do you have anything to add?" Best moment
I like the idea of hearing more about the sticker process. I have 2 of your stickers. I am pretty sure I saw some at my REI, here in Houston. I could be wrong, but they looked the same. Stay warm!!
Love the BV sticker!! I'm spending quite a bit of time in BV and Leadville. LOVE THIS AREA!!
Insulation is NOT only for the winter....Warm in the winter and cool in the summer and really good tor sound proofing
Oh my goodness that adorable face of contentment 😆 2:09
Awesome Scamp Tour! You guys really show how to best organize your super small mobile home! Thanks for the great ideas! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Barron Eyes!
I made the same comment lol
@@tdubbs8786 😁
Lol, frothin' everybody up!
Ok, so far I've ordered the frother, mini lights and dash mount. I give props to you for staying in Colorado for the winter. We are in Arizona for the winter, we run from the cold.
I loved how you zoomed in on your doggie.
You honestly make my favorite content on UA-cam and I like to think that I would be friends with you and Barron🤗 you’re awesome people doing awesome things!
I’d love to see more on ALL the topics both of you mentioned! Geek away Barron! You guys are great- thank you!
So glad we don't have to live like pioneers of the old days as you are.
