Turned out really Nice Lindsay. You make me laugh because of some of the things you say and do like pulling up on the whip finish at the end. You got me there. I like that. Thankyou for making this video. Take Care.🌴🎣🏄♂️Aloha🤙🏼
Seal’s fur as a combination of buoyancy and lifelike movement is perfect for use in top of the water patterns drys hoppers buzzers etc. The addition of the hint of a thorax to the hopper is a key and mainly missed feature that separates a good from a great fly. One of those many extra details that makes the subtle difference to a more cautious trout on the day.
Great looking tying . What size hooks would this pattern suit please ? Is your wax beeswax please ? If not supplier please . Do you think blue rib would work? Tight lines.
Hi Anthony, seals fur is a much better material for its floating qualities. I don't always use it but I know that this pattern uses seals fur, hence I have used it in the tutorial.

Lovely fly, and a bonus to see that I've got everything in to tie it. Think I'll have a crack at that one later. Thanks so much for sharing. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it, fairly simple tie and you get a great fly.
A tip: watch movies at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching a lot of movies lately.
@Abdiel Ernesto definitely, I have been watching on Flixzone} for years myself :)
@Abdiel Ernesto Yup, have been using Flixzone} for since december myself =)
Nice tip with the legs on the underside Lindsay!, I've always done it on the top side.
Nice hopper pattern.

Anything from #10 to #16 it is just beeswax not so sure about a blue rib but worth a go 👍
@@lindsayiflyfish thank you for the information and replying. Tight lines . Keep up the great videos please.
Keep the videos coming m8
Will try pal.
Lindsey what makes you use seals fur rather than Troutstalker scruffy dubbing on this fly for dubbing?

Do hoppers work in faster waters as well....
a bushier hackle perhaps, but this is for the Stillwaters.
@@lindsayiflyfish cool thanks for your reply....
