Obviously I would remove it for any warranty work. Will the dealership be able to know this was hooked up to the OBD system prior to me bringing in my car?
No worries, this product does not void any warranties. Since it is a read-only device it will not affect any performance or operations of the vehicle. This works the same as a code reader dongle, it only reads information. It does not modify anything on the network or in the ECU. But yes, you can just unplug the OBD2 connector and tuck it in your dash to avoid any issues when taking it to the dealer. If you do run into any issues, feel free to have your dealer call us.
So i just got one of these and the gauge just flashes those initial white dots forever... No reading from the car. If I push the right button, it'll show me battery volts for a bit, then go back to blank with flashing dots.
I just bought a 2024 Civic Si, US version, using an ODB adapter with an app on my phone there's no temperatures reading, I'm wondering if the Si doesn't have analog temperature sensors. Willing to buy your product but the main thing I want is the temperature reading. Am I missing something here?
I'm not sure, just wanted to have the same reading as those temperature gauge available in any car, but not the Si, except the Canadian version. I guess it's the oil temperature. Do you have a use case in a US civic si? What temperature can you read?
We do not currently pull oil temp through the OBD2 port but you can add that reading through the analog inputs using a sensor such as one of these - www.fuelairspark.com/fluid-temp-sensor-and-converter-kit.html www.autosportlabs.com/product/40-to-150c-linear-temperature-sensor-with-plug-and-play-harness/@@Juliano-mk2fb
Honda stores that information in a different address than other manufacturers and being a small company of 3 people we don't always write new specific software for every single model vehicle that comes out. We do have the analog solutions available though. All readouts can be found right on our product page - www.p3cars.com/honda/p3-v3-obd2-honda-civic-11th-gen-2022/@@Juliano-mk2fb
Our software works in them but we don't yet have enough demand to design a display specifically for the Integra. If enough demand arises for them we'd be happy to develop an Integra display. If you have further questions, please email service@p3cars.com, thanks.
Great question.👍🏼 No, the electronics are rated to work in very high and low temps. Also, even though they are sealed they can even function underwater if they weren’t due to the lower voltages on the board. So moisture isn’t an issue either. We have many customers still running gauges in their cars without issues 10+ years after installing them. If you have any other questions shoot me an email - service@p3cars.com

Does this gauge show coolant temp? I’m about to buy a civic sport and I’m only getting this for the coolant temp.
Yes it does, just by plugging into the OBD2 port👍🏼

It sounds like your config settings may be incorrect. Please email support@p3cars.com and we'll get you taken care of right away. -Jake

Are you talking about coolant temp? It definitely does have coolant temp and should also have intake air temp as well

@@P3Gauges thanks for the information.
Why don't you show oil temperature?
And about coolant temperature, can you read that from the Civic Si 2024?

Any word on one of these being released for the 2023+ Acura Integra or if this one fits?

@@P3Gauges what would you consider enough demand? I can start a post on the forum to see what the fellow members are thinking.
@@Yonkers_DE4 I replied to your email, thanks!
Wouldnt the air from the vent damage the guage overtime?
