As someone who uses the tabs7+ I would recommend an app called superdisplay, :) turns your tablet into a computer screen to draw on with low latency, i also crank the screen density in developer (i keep mine around 1900 - 2000) options to have things super small :) makes the resolution utilized tbh, you need good eye sight the higher the number

One of the GREATEST features of the Tab S7 Plus that no one talks about is the 'Second Screen' feature. It works absolutely flawlessly with Windows 10. It basically replaced my Wacom Cintinq as my main Photoshop editing device. It's higher resolution, wireless, lighter, portable, and the S-Pen might be even better...
Plus, the device is awesome all on its own... Litterally blown away by how great it is!
I got the 8GB RAM/256GB SSD Mystic Navy it was $356 from Samsung with a Tab S4 Trade-In I got off ebay for $175, they gave me $400 trade in credit, so the total for the Tab S7 Plus was $531. I added the book cover for $50 and an iclever bluetooth keyboard for $25. $606 total. That's one hell of a deal...
The tablet is all that and a bag of chips! Screen is amazing. S-Pen is the best stylus on any platform. Super fast processor. Speakers are fantastic with lots of bass - loud and clear, crisp highs.
The Tab S7 Plus is REALLY awesome! VERY impressive. The S-pen and it's low latency is spectacular. The super-amoled screen at 120 mHz is hard to tie, let alone beat...
Got the keyboard for $129... Saw a lot of positive reviews on UA-cam and was excited to get one... I was let down. Overrated... The pen flap and magnets are its only redeeming qualities... Sent it back. The trackpad for me was not great, and with the keyboard not being backlit was another strike against it... The third strike was the fit. The tablet is flush in some places and sticks out offering zero side protection. The magnets were fine, but I found the back panel slid around a bit too much. Plus, it's only in one color, which lame. I expected it to be much more and was very disappointed.
I ended up getting the Samsung Book Case in Mystic Navy (matches the device) and it's slim design and magnets fit and hold much better than the Keyboard Case. Maybe because it's way lighter. The panels feel nicer and the panels are thin metal covered by a much nicer PU...
I then got a very nice HoneyComb Blue full wrap skin from M2Skins on Esty:
    www.etsy.com/listing/900587597/samsung-galaxy-tab-s7s7-wrap-around-skin
    Looks like this: i.etsystatic.com/25688917/r/il/4acc77/2857597936/il_1588xN.2857597936_uuq9.jpg
So then, I got a keyboard. I settled on the iClever BK04 Wireless Keyboard with LED Backlight.
    www.amazon.com/dp/B08LD6F6MJ
This keyboard is really fantastic. The only caveat is that it's a little narrower than the S7 Plus. BUT, it makes up for that with it being backlit (in many different colors) and it ATTACHES magnetically to the Samsung Book Case when in use! It also allows for the tablet to have unlimited display angles because it acts like a ridge to keep the tablet in place wherever you want it! Fantastic! Plus, it has a USB-C charging port and connects via Bluetooth, so no dongle needed. Highly recommend!
Finally, I'm a longtime Samsung tablet user. I sold my old Note Pro 12.2 recently to cover some of the costs of the S7 Plus. And I've always loved the old Samsung S Action Bluetooth Mouse (et-mp900d), that went with the Note Pro Tablets. They're just the right size for travel, and they're highly accurate. I have a bunch of them, and they work great for the S7 Plus.
    Thanks for reading!

Interesting, I didn't consider the RAM being a limiting factor. I actually bought the s7+ 128gb version without knowing it "only" had 6gb, but figured it wouldn't matter on discovering it has less than I thought.
I do prefer Infinite Painter over clip on Android (Android CSP is amazing though) with it's elegant UI it gives me a lot space - also has Liquify which is nice. I sometimes use CSP on my Surface book which has the 15" screen and it better suits the desktop style UI of CSP.
How big are you're CPS files? Just to see, on my s7+ 6GB I've just made a 3200px x 2400px canvas with 7 layers of sketching and paint and my app is staying open. I recently had a 4gb tab S4 - and used CSP on it, the extra 2gb on the S7+ should give us potentially - considerably - bigger canvas and more layers to play with.

The ambient light feature just kept changing randomly throughout the day, so the only thing to do was send it out to be repaired. It was still under its warranty so it didn’t cost me anything and they sent me a 2020 iPad Pro as a replacement at no extra charge, so basically I got an upgrade in model for free. Woohoo! I’d like that to be the case more often as I usually upgrade my iPad every time a new model comes out, I’m not particularly going to upgrade to the new 2021 iPad Pro even though it has the new M1 chip because my experience so far has shown that the faster iPad doesn’t have enough apps to support it and it never really reaches its potential. It’s like spending a lot of money for a Tesla that can drive super fast but you can only go 35 miles per hour due to the speed limit. iPads have always been more machine than the apps that are available, as far as the camera updates, I don’t really use it for taking pictures.

One thing that goes largely unspoken is the entire Apple ecosystem working together. Tossing files back and forth with Airdrop and the way everything integrates between Mac, iPad, iPhone etc is a dream, especially with the new M1 hardware. I love drawing on my iPad, it has forever spoiled me. But I hate doing typography and layout on it. No problem, a quick export from Procreate or one of the Affinity apps and sling it over to the Mac. One thing I've really started enjoying is video editing on the iPad with Luma Fusion. They're about to add external drive support with high speed USBC. Just awesome stuff so I don't have to fill up my iPad's storage with video. The ability to Airdrop a couple GB of video clips at a time is just amazing. IMO the Apple tax is worth it... plus, Procreate!!!!!

Share files between your laptop, tablet and phone. I have a Galaxy probook 2, S7 tab plus and a newly aquired S22. With link to share or Samsungs quick share you have two ways to do it on the laptop. I’m a big fan of the Wacom-powered S-Pen, having used it Galaxy Note phones for many years. But I’m still not convinced by Android as a tablet OS. iPadOS is still frustratingly limited considering the power of the hardware, but still so great to use. Wide-screen tablets feel awkward to use for drawing in my experience, especially in portrait mode.
The lack of a user-replaceable battery in the Apple Pencil is frustrating. My Gen 1 died after just under four years. (EDIT: I was able to bring it back to life by charging via cable, not plugged into iPad). Apparently it can be replaced by an Apple authorised technician for A$45. Will believe that when I see it. The purchase price of Apple Pencil is extortionate imho.
Good to hear that Krita is coming to Android, though evidently it hasn’t yet hit the Australian PlayStore.
To be fair, pinch-to-zoom etc. are available on desktop apps with some tablets, such as the touch-enabled Cintiq.

I have never had a tablet, ipad or anything else.
for 6 years i have intuos pro from 2013 m, in the end i mostly used paper for drawing, i find digital difficult and lack of screen,
I am old but I would like to learn digital and improve in drawing, I think 90% of the things I do with the computer I could do with a tablet, I would especially like to draw. I do not know if it makes sense, I would like ipad pro 13 inches, I have been thinking about it for years but it is out of budget, but in the future I would like to give up replacing a pc for a tablet, I wonder if it makes sense and which one, I think the size of the monitor would be important and good audio speakers, important for me to use for drawing and music, pc is 6 years old and ssi components are damaged, some replaced but not all.
I did not understand if ipad pro, or samsung s7 or other, you find them awkward to draw, sometimes I bother to shoulder for having banged, or you find them ok, if I learned I would use tablets instead of cate and pencils or pens. or watercolors etc.

If you're really wanting to get into art as a hobby, Apple is the bees knees at the moment. Android is fantastic at so many things but I think just purely drawing on a tablet there's no better experience than the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen on an iPad Pro screen. In my opinion the Samsung s7+ is not a direct comparison and or competitor to the iPad m1 pro. The s7+ is almost a year old, and is more comparable with iPad pro with A12z from 2020. So the outcome was predictable, and newer product should like the 2021 iPad M1 is expected to do better than an older S7+. Nevertheless, it was interesting seeing how a almost year old tablet compares to a new one. However, a more evenly match comparison should be made once the 2021 tab S8 released.

It really can't hold a candle to the Apple Pencil. It sucks so bad that I will be returning the Tab S7 FE and wait for a deal on the new Ipad. S pen is great for writing notes. But Apple Pencil is hands down the best stylus for drawing. Please try the tab S7 at a store before purchasing, don't make the same mistake I did. When it comes to using the gestures of the S-Pen. I LOVE it
No, not for everyday apps. I mean for Clip Studio.
Swiping left to flip the canvas
Swiping down to save my work
Tapping the button to switch to the "Transparent" Color
I'll admit, I had to fiddle with the settings to get it to my needs for how I normally draw and use my tablet, but the fact that the options were there and all linked to my pen really helped!
I wasn't a fan of the Apple Pencil's double tap for eraser, just felt...IDK, I found the button more convenient.
I suggest giving this a try and seeing if your workflow differs! But if you already did, then there's nothing much to say about it :p
