  • The first 4 minutes of cardiac arrest can be very chaotic. The survival of the patient depends on many factors, including bystander CPR, early activation of 9-1-1, and the use of an AED. When first responders arrive, bringing calm to the chaos is essential. This video will cover several tips to bring that calm, including assigning roles prior to arrival, turning on the monitor early, positioning equipment strategically, pre-charging the monitor, finding a pulse DURING COMPRESSIONS, switching compressors every 2 minutes, and so much more. I am hopeful that this short video will equip your system/company/department with some of those key tools that are so easy, but often overlooked.
