LUCAS CPR Device 2 Person Deployment

Deploying the LUCAS device requires a coordinated, choreographed effort. Every 6 seconds that CPR is not performed decreases survival by 1%. A one minute pause to deploy a LUCAS decreases survival by 10%! Continuing effective CPR while deploying the LUCAS is just as important to survival from cardiac arrest as using the LUCAS device. This video covers the key steps to efficiently deploy a LUCAS without interrupting CPR for more than 6 seconds.
