We had ours fixed for free - it is a known fault apparently and if you go to a Samsung repairer you may have the same luck (in Melbourne Australia). We’ve never had another problem. Such a joy when it no longer freezes. I should add that we purchased extended warranty when we purchased, just in case that helped get the repair done (fridge was less than 3 years old when fixed)

That ice maker in the refrigerator is the biggest pile of garbage. I have changed every part and still freezes up and stops making ice.😡🤬
