Gotta believe the stand over advantage of the 1L is significantly more compelling. Although the time standing is limited, it still needs to be somewhat comfortable.
I'm weird and have my 1L top tube bag at the other end so it connects to my saddle post. Mainly because the steerer isn't tall enough for the Velcro strap but it works well. I carry a tube, patch kit, levers, mask and 3-4 snack bars in mine... it's a snug fit! Love the videos as always, QC! 🧡✨
Thanks for the review. One attribute that you missed (that I saw on their website) is that the bag has a cable port so you can carry a battery bank in the bag while charging a phone or GPS mounted on your bike. Pretty cool feature!
Apidura missed the mark on width... 1.8 inch is just too thin. You can go +3 inch without being a problem, my Rockgeist and Oveja Negra are this wide. I have the 2 L Apidura and love it but at times I think being just a little wider would make it tremendously more useful.
As one of your other commenters stated, I run my top tube bag in reverse, up against the seat post. Therefore allowing myself room when getting on and off the bike, plus no worries of bashing my groin when stepping off in an emergency stop (ask me how I know...lol)
I got the 0.5-liter one, and it's absolutely useless! I thought it would have been good for my e-bike, just some space rather than pockets for stuff, but it's just a waste of money. I can't get anything in it, really. Two items, wireless open-ear buds-the cargo case is too big for them, and they're not big cases! I have a full suspension, so I put it under the seat on the top tube and used the head tube strap around the carbon seat tube. It looks made for the frame, but it's a shame it doesn't hold anything.
hey hey hey hey hay....you made a face when you said phallic looking thing...it's a gopro. An extending phallic looking "gopro" ...do they come in red?
That mag closure - dang.... I was in love with the bigger one, now you get me thinking I need to consider both!
Apidura seems focused on waterproofness... this always seems to be first or second in their feature list. That's great to see.
When you consider they are UK-based, it makes sense. We get plenty of liquid sunshine. ;-)

Cool review. Thanks. Love your tone of voice ✌️
Just bought this bag for brevets, thanks for the video, it was very thorough!

Love the green top cap.
Tailfin one looks good im interested in one them.
Does it pop open on rough ground?
How does it sit on the top tube? Does a rounded top tube push out the base?
Thanks for giving the dimensions for overseas viewers that don't understand hieroglyphics.
Gotta say great bag review but I’m here to sneak another peak at your Crust Bombora.
Love that bike
Nice review, I have a front roll, frame bag and a seat bag. I might be moving toward a top loader after seeing your video.

Oh, thanks for catching that! You’re right, I completely missed that 😅
Thank you!
I'm running a bikase 1060 Vader top tube, and a bikase wasp on my seat. Super sweet. I'm sick of all the cordura and the look of em is crazy.
Are you into MYOG or do you think you might get into it in the future? I'm relatively new here so if you've already covered this I do apologize!
I am absolutely terrible at sewing but if I ever give MYOG a whirl I’ll post a video about it!
@@queercyclist I kinda feel like the people who end up being best at MYOG started off saying “I’m terrible at sewing”
I fully expect to see the long boi on the Monē next video.

Vocal FRRrrrrrrrrryyyyyah.
Not for gravel keeps bouncing and sliding side to side - returning it
When using it on LEJOG it proved not water proof ,killing my phone so be careful .

don't get a top tube bag unless you get the best you can get because all these cheap ones move around and suck, get the tailfin bags.
Продажный продаван😅👎
