OMG. I was laughing SO hard girl!!!! I needed that because I really don’t feel like going outside to learn how to test my alternator in this humidity. Well, considering it all - I think I’m going to get the catoma self-supporting bug tent w/included (vented) tarp, & side access. A steal at $99 milsurp. 30” wide I think. No see um net. I had hesitated because of its spring loaded design & 13sq.” flat footprint when folded. A bit unwieldy to pack in my minimal bag. I can leave the tarp at home & use my poncho. Just over 1lb or so that way. Not perfect but rings a lot of bells. Happy trails!

For mixed surface. As wide and as low a psi as safely possible. I have 45mm maxxiss Ramblers on one 42 mm specialized pros and 45mm Schwalbe allrounds. Im about 220lbs run at around 30psi.

What I really like about cycling is that you can do it by yourself, with a partner, or even in a group with other cycling enthusiasms, a great way to meet new friends, even allies, just like motorcyclists do. I was never a fan of the big city life, instead, I like rural areas, mountains, and the wilderness.

😳 I can somehow relate to your situation, I lost love of my life in 2022 after 15 wonderful years, grief is devastating and it needs time, it was extremely traumatic and at the end of 2022 I developed DPDR (depersonalisation/derealisation) which feels like you are in a neverending nightmare. Cycling everyday for few hours saved my life, after a year and a half in constant dpdr state I can say I am feelin‘ better evry day and go out cycling alone as much as I can, no matter if it‘s -15 degree celsius or rain, just go somewhere, it helps Hope you‘re feelin‘ better now👍🏻✌🏻🌞

price is like $3 more than a comparable size of Maxxis Ardent race. Negligible difference. I'm curious how road noise compares to other MTB tires. This seems relevant to me because if I was choosing a tire for maybe a drop bar MTB or an MTB-based 'longer days' rig, I'd be comparing to MTB tires, not gravel or road tires. I might give Ultradynamico the benefit of the doubt until I've had a chance to experience them myself

Thanks for your video! You inspired me to sew a little saddlebag similar to your new one. I used the LearnMYOG Zip Pouch Pattern generator to make a pouch to the dimensions I wanted. I just added webbing to the outside before sewing it together.

But I noticed that the tires you have are not the "Race" compound, they are the "JFF", you can tell by the fact that they have a little triangle after the word "Rosé" on the sidewall. The "Race" are marked with a dot, the "JFF" are marked with a triangle and Ultradynamico's third compound, the "Robusto", is marked with a rhombus.

I never get moisture on the inside if I have it pitched correctly and one of the doors open. I usually lay so my face is at the door opening. I am hiking in the CDT.

Look into using Turmeric in relieving the pain/cramps, I know it helps me with diverticulitis.

I did the bullhorns and found them to be super helpful when I needed to push hard on the pedals for a hard climb. Living in Arizona, the insulated version is the BEST at keeping your hydration at a bearable temperature. I can fill it with cool water, drop in a couple of ice-cubes and there's still some ice left after four hours on the road.

Have you tried putting the cup inside the pot first, fill it with the spork, lighter and stove, then put your fuel canister in with the plastic cap on thecfuel valve upside down? Then uour cloth then the lid on top? Prevents rusting in your pot. I have almost the same setup and it nests well this way.
