    Love that sweep of brownstone buildings with the trees. That is a real test of values. And what’s not to love about a scene with an ice cream truck. Got my panels cut and I’m ready to do my little studies.

      That’s great to hear! These little studies are so helpful. Whenever I’m in a painting rut, I do little studies like this to help me get back to the basics.

      Thanks for the kind words Doug, and I'm so happy to hear our video has inspired you to try a similar exercise! It's such a great way to help push your skills with simplifying complex information. Let us know how it goes! :)

    Thanks guys this is awesome. Wishing I had a paint buddy. Guess the black gloves are for?fantastic little ones inspiring!

    • @paintingwithlindseyandnate8007
      @paintingwithlindseyandnate8007  4 роки тому

      The black gloves are to keep our hands from getting coves in paint. I tent to get pretty messy so at the end of a painting session, it’s nice to take the gloves off and have paint free hands.

    What a nice job with your video.
    So much fun watching the two of you paint and walk the city of London.
    So I’m curious do you split your individual paintings up and then put them in plain air frames?

    Hi! I love your videos. I paint since I was a child, but it´s been a long time since I painted with oils the last time, now I´m trying watercolor and I love it, but watching you encourage me to try oils again. I´m from Argentina, so painting outside in this particular context is quite complicated, but I´m so excited yo try my little paints soon.

    These are great you guys. I have been painting for years and still don't set up my palette properly. I end up guessing at colours. The last scene with that dark sky is worth painting too ;)

    It’s funny that you said you feel so challenged designing those people in your paintings. Because I was going to compliment you on how good your little suggested figures are. And fact I snapped a picture so I could look up close. Because this is also a challenge I have. You can run your painting if you do them badly.

    I would love to know what equipment you have too as it looks so light and easy to transport

      We have the day tripper easel www.prolificpainter.com/shop/easel/ and the Strada easel www.stradaeasel.com/collections/strada-easels/products/strada-easel . They are both fantastic easels. The day tripper is much lighter is you are looking for a lightweight situation.
