Great song and a great reaction. I love to listen to you.
The drum and bass work in that song is called a shuffle… it was made popular by Ray Price in the late 50’s
❤❤❤❤❤❤
So humorous of you: "Let's see, maybe the plot thins". Love the song and your reaction; Eddie has so many great songs.
Another great choice Don, I do love Eddie - unique and engaging. Hadn't heard him in a while so it was a super way to start the day. Thanks!
This is a great song. Classic country that I love. I have this in my music collection. Eddie Rabbitt was born in New Jersey, to parents from Ireland. Thanks for this song reaction. Cheers, Don! ✌️
Hello, thanks for kindly reacting to one of my earlier requests. If possible, could you react to The Ghost of Another Man - George Jones?
If you liked the twist in A Place in the Country, you’ll like this one also!
Think about the strength of young live. Fees days, he is hooked, she is not. Juke boxes allow you , as you said, "stack songs". I dont know if they have a limit, but you can play multiple songs. Thank you for reviewing these gems from the past. They are like a visit from old friends.
When I was a kid it was 1 song for a dime or 3 for a quarter. My local diner has tabletop jukeboxes, it plays MP3’s for 50 cents a song or 3 for dollar.
Rabbitt had some great ones, but this might be my favorite. I can't help but turn up the volume when it comes on.
Always Loved his music .
Thanks Don for this selection. With you being from Jersey, I am surprised that you don't react more to this East Orange guy. Eddie wrote this song and released it in '76 on his 'Rocky Moutain Music' album. The song peaked at #3. I loved Eddie Rabbitt music. He is the one who prompted me to buy my first Ovation guitar. Also I am in his '81 Miller High Life commercial filmed in MesaAZ, where I got runover by the camera trolly. We had to listen to "I Love A Rainy Night" about 15 times.. Thanks for the reaction Don,.
Every which way but loose would be a good reaction
From the 70s Clint Eastwood move of the same name
Same movie also gave charlie rich hit songs like behind closed doors and I'll wake you up when I get home
The world's greatest jukebox song- Wurlitzer Prize by Waylon Jennings
Del Reeves also put two dollars in the jukebox, but he did it a dime at a time. His song is called "A Dime At A Time" Completely different somg but worth checking out.
This has always been a favorite of mine. If I want to buy a request, is there some way to put in the details when I send money through Paypal?
@bwilliams463 PayPal has a section where you can leave a note or info, though not too much info as I like to do my reactions with as little info as possible. The PayPal and Venmo addresses are in the description box below. If any issues with that process you can send the PayPal payment and then email me the details at RockN2Country@gmail.com, but the most efficient way is directly in the PayPal request. Thanks!
@@RockN2Country Got it. You did a few for me back in the early days; I reckon it's time to contribute to the cause.
@@bwilliams463 Thanks for looking out! I look forward to it. 🙂
Juke boxes were originally called nickelodeon because they cost a nickel for a song. Try Teresa Brewers Music, Music, Music
morning Don off to the mill .. be safe ... HAKAD
On Second Thought is his best one thanks for sharing this one
That's a terrific song.
I would argue - but I lLove A Rainy NIght is probably his best song.
@@johnpaulbacon8320 respect your opinion but disagree Rainy Night is not country it's pop in nature comparitivly speaking
When I hear Eddie Rabbitt I think of Clint Eastwood and Clyde in Every Which Way but Loose
saw him live in the mid 90s along wth ;Clay Walker. he was great and so much fun, really joking with the audience
Being from NJ, I would naturally love Eddie Rabbitt. I believe he was born in NY, but moved to NJ early on. In an interview, Eddie was discussing how he would sometimes do the harmonies on his own songs. All the backup voices we are hearing might just be Eddie. I think we saw him at the Garden State Arts Center, along with Juice Newton, many years ago. Fine rating, I might add.
Nice reaction - for another song with a very sinilart meaning ; check out Charlie Daniels - Drinking My Baby GoodBye.
Just a gentle suggestion: I wish you would linger longer with the headphones on to make sure the song is over. I've seen you miss the ending a few times, this one included. It may seem like a minor thing, but for those who've heard these songs hundreds of times, the song isn't the same if a piece we love is missing. If someone took scissors and cut off 5% of the Mona Lisa from the bottom corner, plenty of people would have a conniption. Maybe it isn't too much to ask for a piece of art from the late Eddie Rabbitt to hear all of the song.
I enjoy the channel and intend no offense. :)
