- The fanghella was a tool used in glíma, the empty-hand combat system of the Vikings. These wrestling stones served to break the back of one's opponent and were used both for combat and for ritual sacrifice. Here is an in-depth look at two historical wrestling stones.

dude its been like years since you guys uploaded!
Remarkable that a society could survive with so many of its young men of producing age breaking each others spines!
@Carmicha3l So it would seem.
Very interesting
This is a proper content worth watching and I only wonder why so little views.
Interesting and brutal!
cool video
Go Reynir! We need to catch up ;)
Ive heard that someone did this and broke a man in two halves. I have heard some say this is viking fiction but I doubt they would have made something like that up. Its surely possible. I once saw a man jump in front of a train where he bounced back flying into a light post 10m away being ripped in half just like that. Would be cool to see in a viking movie anyway. Its like some mortal combat finisher IRL.
`or_ (best I can do on a keyboard)
Wow WWE used to be a LOT more bloodthirsty in the middle ages! 💀
