hi thanks for watching my. yes I've been out on it a cpl of times ones on the canal and then on a lake but not on the sea yet. hopefully in cpl of weeks I will. I can highly recommend it so far its so Comfortable and sturdy. I've had a couple of others in the past but I end up getting a numb bum or pins and needles in my legs but not with the new style chair.
@@ferritsfamilyadventures9601 The more common back rests are from the same design school as the razor seats we got on our racing cycles in the 70's, 80's. My other kayak can't be used for more than two hours or less without extreme discomfort and cramp which leaves me vulnerable. Glad that comfort, efficiency is being thought about

do you think this would be a good kayak for long distance / over night kayaking trips?
Definitely. Plenty of room for gear and very stable
