I've heard a bible historian once refer to satan as "the tester"

That would make sense. The role of HaSatan in this story is essentially to "test" if Job's faith in God is legit.

Is Job a Hebrew name? Maybe it is a Persian name since the story seems to be influenced by the Zoroastrian dualistic universe. Elohim is the plural of El.

Great question! The New International Dictionary of Old Testament Theology and Exegesis summarizes the different possibilities very clearly and succinctly, so I am just going to share a short section from there in Volume 1 page 365.
"The etymology of the name Job, אִיּוֹב, is unclear. Traditionally it has been derived from the participial form of אָיַב, with either an active sense, i.e., the hostile one; or a passive sense, i.e., object of enmity. It has also been linked to the Arabic ʾawwāhb, he who turns (to God), i.e., penitent one. While the name is not attested elsewhere in Hebrew, the name is attested in a number of West Semitic. texts with the meaning “Where is my father?”-the most likely meaning for the biblical name Job."
So while the name does not appear elsewhere in Hebrew, it does appear in the broader West Semitic world as a name with a few interesting possibilities regarding its meaning.
As to your second point of Elohim being the plural of El, Elohim אלהים is actually the plural of Eloah אלוה. Dueteronomy 32:7 is a perfect verse that shows this since both forms appear in the same verse. The plural of El אל is Elim אלים (Psalm 29:1)

Ha satan, "the accuser", or I look at it as the, "prosecutor". The satan is not a proper noun, it is an "occupation" within the "bene ha elohim", heavenly host. The "dragon" is the "evil one".

So serpent, dragon, devil, are not Ha satan as occupation, interesting, I know this red horned pitchfork caricature is so misleading, lack of understanding and unbiblical? What about Antichrist is it the same one

This is indeed one of the major camps of how scholars view HaSatan in the book of Job.

    He said
" All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them."
You two guys not only listen to them, you make videos about what the robbers and thieves sold you.
What is wrong with people? It's like they can't even think.Which he also said
Why can’t you understand what I am saying? It’s because you can’t even hear me!
You guys arw concentrating on john 8:44 stories. Why? Is it because you can't bear to hear his word's? He told you what's up, but you won't listen will you?
