Wheeler Dealers is one of the few British TV reality shows that made waves when it premiered. The show produced by Attaboy TV for Discovery Channel in the United Kingdom and Motor Trend in the United States is hosted by car enthusiasts Mike Brewer and Marc Priestley.
While the show featured great mechanics like Edd China and Ant Anstead, Marc quickly became fans’ favorite on the show due to his easygoing personality and extensive experience. Comes across as a genuinely good fella and uber skilled mechanic.
Just caught up with series here in Aus. Got to say Mark is the best mechanic / side kick the show has had, by a long way. No smart arse comments, no temper tantrums, no whinging, just a good natured, natural personality. The energy between them both is so noticeable, makes the show what it should always have been.

Thanks for reading us his Curriculum Vitae. On screen he was an all-round good egg, a great shame that he didn’t / couldn’t do more for the series. His screen presence was engaging, very competent, eloquent and exuded talent spiced with humour. What the punters expect!

This would be a "great show" if the producers simply replaced the "Michelin Man"

Mark was correct in giving the benefit of his experience and knowledge in saying don’t bite off more than you can chew when restoring a classic car but there is always idiots that know better
They will continue to lose viewership! Ed was a big part of the show! Something is wrong when they continually change cast members! The same with garage squad and American Pickers! the magic formula is gone!
The main question is, when will Mark's hair start going grey like Edd's and Ant's did as the show went on? 😮

This was like watching a "long winded advert" & I still didn't get to find out what really happened to Marc Priestley. Without a doubt it was more like a resume of the qualities of Marc as a mechanic & what he was & is capable of!! We all know of his vast range of abilities when it comes to motor vehicles as I've watched him on so many occassions but I didn't tune in here to listen to that respectfully. I wanted to know "WHAT HAPPENED" & this time waster told me nothing in that direction!! Understandee de englishee????

Hmm.. I cringed when I saw Marc's bodywork skills on that yellow car @5:18 Everything looked wrong with his welding. The cutout and metal shaping looked good but the welding was terrible. We only saw a glimpse on the TV screen of the bird-poo welds, next time we see it, the job has been 100% done incl paint. It looked like an aborted mission, then glossed over. Hope I'm wrong. Ant's metal bashing looked superb.

Agreed it looked terrible I ent blowing smoke up my own backside but always been told I'm good at welding I take longer than most people but that's because I care about the quality of work I put out and the fact I learned welding from a young age

Really nice bloke ,I, d have a personal mechanic but is high time JB Priestley put both his feet on the ground in the real dirty world of a mech at the bottom of the automotive food chain. Hop on A 787 to the USA and watch a real mechanic at work, yes cats&kittens BAD CHAD a very talented passionate artisan on wheels. He creates cars out of other peoples crap on a limited budget that makes you sit up and take notice. For instance BAD CHAD created for a client who runs a gravel sand haulage company a working six wheel dumper wagon complete with tipping dumper body out of a rusty,34 Oldsmobile ,a motorbike, a trailer landing leg powered by a six cylinder engine from a,71,72 Chevy C10 pickup bought off a friend. No fancy tools ,limited access to custom car parts, using what he has in his basic no frills garage somewhere in North America, finances tight creates cars bordering on automotive insanity. BAD CHAD did not go to a poncy college ,work for a prestige motorsport team to learn his craft.

Ant Antstead the reason I stopped watching the programme. A clown just like Brewer but not a cuddly. Marc is very knowledable proficient engineer with a great personality. He saved the show after Ed left. Ant was a failure on every level.
Thats Harsh.. Ive enjoyed them all.. The Personalities worked for me... But most importantly , I learnt while being entertained.
