Roads To Ride - B1225 - Caistor High Road - Lincolnshire [4K]

The B1225 Caistor High Road is 20 miles of motorcycling delight through the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds.
The twenty-mile road from Caistor in the north to Horncastle in the south is divided into four sections by crossroads with the A157, A631 and the B1203.
There is an excellent café in Castor’s town square, and “Willy Woods” is a popular biker meeting place located a few miles west on the A631.
The video shows the first 10 miles from the south end near Horncastle. If you are in this part of Lincolnshire, make sure you ride all of it.
The B1225 Caitor High Road also forms part of the Lincolnshire 100, a 100-mile route through some of the best roads in the region. You can download the free GPX file here:

One of my favourite roads. If you carry on to Caistor and go straight across to Brigg, that's also excellent 👍

I drove it in my little Dacia this afternoon at a pretty steady 60 with an enormous smile on my face both ways through some of the corners and undulations; and it was clear it would be much more fun on a motorbike!
