I have a JV Effects Transmission ...virtually the same pedal. Handmade by Jean Vella in Malta. It even uses the NOS Phillips/Mullard OC 71 transistors that gives you that magic clean sound. I paid with shipping incl. $110.00 USD. I believe the Broadcast is around double? Then there is shipping etc. I use it with a custom guitar I had made from a Leo F sketch from '53 . It has a Tele PU at the bridge and a Strat PU at the neck and middle. I get the best of a Tele & Strat from the same guitar. Apparently it was meant to be made and even called Telecaster v.2. of course it was pre-empted by the Strat. Leo thought his guitars should be like cars. A new model every few years with a different look. It would keep the best of the previous model but add new things. It looks like a Jazz Master but it does not have an offset body.
Thanks for sharing, it's a great pedal, love it for low gain and fuzzy drive. The only downside is the lack of added sustain, which most fuzzes have. Is it too transparent/honest? 😂 I pair it with other drives like a Snouse Bluesbreaker-style pedal for medium gain and a Kingsley Page for solo boost. With this I have got all my gainstages covered except the Klon midhump thing... Maybe just add one more.
That’s so weird - I pair it with the exact same pedals for the same reasons! I’ve had the Klon-style pedal on and off my board at various points in time - it definitely adds something. I’ll be doing a deep dive into the Bluesbreaker in the coming weeks 👍
@@ashleyguitarandpedals 😂 2 different variations but both are the 24 volt version. Single stomp and 2 dual stomp. I saw someone selling one for cheap so I bought a backup… I might have a problem. 😂
Amazing!
Thanks! What do you reckon to the fuzz sound - is it good enough to replace a fuzz face?
@@ashleyguitarandpedals 🤔 I think I would keep both 😉
Ha! Absolutely 👍
Very tasty!!!
Thanks! Listening back, I feel like the overdrive tone has a touch of The Kinks to it! Loving this pedal right now 👍🙌🏻
@@ashleyguitarandpedals Good call with The Kinks... Very possibly 😎
Yeah is the best pedal that I try. I bought the two switch version

The pedal and guitar combo you are describing sounds epic 🙌🏻👍

Haha the same ears or the same moment in our tone journey, or something like that ;-)
Absolutely love that pedal. I have 3. 😬
🤣 Three of the same or different variations?

I might have a problem. 😂
🤣 Nah - you can never have too many! 👍🙌🏻
@@ashleyguitarandpedals the 24 volts single stomp version has been my secret weapon on bass.
🤘👍🏿
I wouldn't want this guy to advertise for me. IMO
What are you selling?
It's called Sanpaku and it's cultural
