Judo moves is where they grabb on to your clothes or gi but if you aren't wearing a gi or shirt , uppercuts and knees to the face , judokas who dont train striking won't ne able to defeat a boxer ot other material arts that train striking. Not saying that bbj , wrestling and judo are useless , they aren't but you need to be able to strike and defend against a striker also

Do you find it difficult to get throws against good MT guys?
My experience has been that MT doesn’t seem to develop nearly the center of gravity awareness actual grappling does so going against a judoka always felt like a pretty uphill battle. Judo skills seem to transfer easier into MT than MT into Judo.

As someone who does both muay thai and grappling, I think the styles fit, because clinching up is one of the big aspects of muay thai. It's just like in judo, where you're not going to just get a footsweep from a resisting opponent like that. In muay thai like any other grappling art, it takes set up, and you can now set up your takedowns with knees.
