@@PaulPhillipsFix Very cool! Content makers like yourself are what makes YT. I also just got a W210 E430 and have been fixing a long list of deferred items with junkyard parts including a shifter assembly for non-op gear position module.
I just got my 1999 E430 a few days ago as well. I also have been watching and bookmarking. Happily for us, online knowledge base is excellent. And happily for me at least, W210's are plentiful in my self serve junkyards. So far, I replaced gear shift assembly, window regulator, a door mirror, PSE module, center console switch assembly, and a few dashboard and tail light bulbs. Still chasing trunk release issue which appears to be electrical. Also need new front seats. I thought I could replace just the cover as shown in other videos but that is proving not so easy. I also need a new headliner.
@@encinobalboa I need a headliner in my E320 too. Look for a broken wire on the left side of the trunk hinge as the wires run through there and move as the lid is opened and closed. I found one of my failures in this area. You can give the wire a tug test if you suspect the break may be there. I'll try to find you the link for the proper tape that is best for wrapping the wires back up. Here's the link for the cloth tape, it's what the manufacturers use and none of these damn garages use the right stuff. amzn.to/3kMbg6c

Those long wrenches make it really easy to remove the spark plug boots without damaging them and they aren't expensive. Thanks for watching, please like & subscribe as it supports our channel, thanks, Paul.
Thanks for this very precise explanation! But tell me please if this car uses double spark plugs, 'cause some especialized magazines and mechanics wrote and say that case.
Yes they do have two spark plugs per cylinder. The V6 has 12 plugs V8 has 16. Thank you for subscribing and please share my video I appreciate you helping my channel grow.

@@PaulPhillipsFix I like the vid. Ever weld a bracelet to a positive terminal? I melted my wedding ring replacing an alternator on a sailboat motor. Got a permanent wedding ring scar where my ring sat normally and a nice scar where I pulled the ring up trying to get its hot skin melting ass off me. Good times.
@@FLXMobileLaserCo. That has not happened to me yet. Let's hope it doesn't either. I know I should take them off but there is a little excitement in living dangerously. :-) Sorry to here of your branding, OUCH!!!

Sorry, camera didn't record whole procedure but the basics are there.
My E430 transmission stopped @ 290K miles. I dont think that it needs a new trans. I changed the transmission "coil" already. Any thoughts?
