Hi @@NoticerOfSmallHats - please advance to 0:21 seconds into the video where I have listed the tools, their prices, and where to purchase them from...
Hi Tylan - that is the Mercedes design for the most efficient combustion of fuel injected into any one cylinder. Which means double the cost and labor in replacing the plugs and wires.
TheCarSection TheCarSection - Correct. E320's are made like tanks. If you get one that is well maintained until year 2002 or post 2007. Avoid the ones with the SBC or sensotronic brake control system.
Offset wrench for wires is about $20 on ebay. Worth every penny.
Great video. Thanks for the clear instructions. These cars can be a bit of a pain to change spark plugs on compared to others.
Hi Kattaklysm...thanks for the kind words and happy to have been of any assistance.
@@masood-tv Hello, can you tell me what tools you used to do this? I want to change mine as well but do not know what exact tool size you used

@@masood-tv Oh thank you so much! I appreciate you.
Nicely done my brother. Thank you
Thanks for the kind words.

fantastic video bro 🎥
thanks 👍
Thanks, face smasher, for the nice comment.
After watching this. I miss my M110 engine
🤣
Would you happen to know the gap size for the spark plugs. I have a 2004 mercedes e500
Do you know the gap size
Hi McKinley, I believe it is 1mm or .039 inches. Torque value is 23NM. However, if you purchase a good brand like Bosch, it should come pregapped.
@@masood-tv is it possible if you can check i tried but no luck
@@mckinleysmith07 I did reply.
@@masood-tv i purchased these from Amazon. They ste NGK brand
Can I use platinum? I wanna do this as maintenance but 60$ for spark plugs is kinda crazy for an old car
Hi Carl. Of course, you can. But, you may face issues such as misfiring
, hesitation, loss of power, or poor fuel economy...
@@masood-tv sounds like a no, maybe I'll wait and see if I ever get misfire 🤣 so if I change them use iridium?
No worries, Carl. It is your car and only you know what is best for your specific situation. Take care.
@@masood-tv maybe within the next couple oil changes I'll change them and use iridium then, thank u!!
It’s a e class dude.. $60 is nothing
What's the spark spec of M112.911 engine?
Hi Alex, same.
Why are there 3 coils with 2 wires each if the engine is only a v6?
Hi Tylan - that is the Mercedes design for the most efficient combustion of fuel injected into any one cylinder. Which means double the cost and labor in replacing the plugs and wires.
2 per coil
I thought they needed 16 spark plugs ?
TheCarSection TheCarSection - These W210"s have six cylinders with each cylinder requiring only two spark plugs for a total of 12...
Masood oh ok so the 8 cylinder requires 16 ? want to know cuz I'm thinking about buying a e320,420,or 430
TheCarSection TheCarSection - Correct. E320's are made like tanks. If you get one that is well maintained until year 2002 or post 2007. Avoid the ones with the SBC or sensotronic brake control system.
Ok thanks

very good production but the camera is too close for my liking
Thanks, Scott, will keep that in mind making new videos.
I have this engine in my c280
😜👌👌😂🥰
Thx, Rennett.
These camera angles didn't help a single person, just give me a single, uncut overheat shot of showing how to get to them.
