I still sing them to this day. She inspired me to sing and join my band back in my 20's, along with Epica, Evanescence and Nightwish. That's my kind of range 🖤

I Listened to this one so much in the gym in 2016-2018 when I rehabilitated my arms and back after a couple of accident + many years of illness. To push my self past bounderys I thought was impossible. Running, lifting. Getting a my body and self love back.
This song legit helped me out some dark times. It hits me in the heart and gut and every time I hear it as it reminds of where I was but was able to get out of the dark. Thanks for reacting and I’m so glad you loved it.
I met Xzibit once when I was working security at a hip hop festival, he wasnt performing just attending as a guest, he seemed pretty cool and was happy that I just treated him like a regular dude and didnt get all star struck... awesome collab here tho

It's not her fault they picked her, I feel like they wanted someone OPPOSITE to Tarja and as time went by they calmed down and realized it wasn't it. The band discovered a more hard side and made great albums (imo) with Anette, and now with Floor they are complete without having to differenciate themselves from Tarja. So it's all peace and love, I just hope Anette is happy nowadays, she was heartbroken at the time.

crossovers in music will always work. its a just a matter of just finding the perfect partner to make it work. X to the Z was/is the perfect compliment to Within Temptation, so much that they could do multiple songs together and it would work. Within Temptation could get an R and B singer with the right voice, and it would work perfectly. Musical synergy exists no matter the genre.

About time for this band to be discovered in North America, I don't know how well they are known but it's about time for us here to discover jewel bands like this. When I first found within temptation they were classified as "symphonic rock". They released a new album last year. Maybe the year before? Anyway, 'The Reckoning' and 'Raise Your Banner' are amazing.
