Thank you for the kind words about Tanya Veit and AAE Glass @Karenhettenbaugh2109 we appreciate it! These new jewelry settings are the best we have had in over 10 years! rb.gy/pqmus
Great job Tanya, thanks so much for sharing. I noticed that several of the settings I am interested in are already sold out. I know you said it would be a long time until you have more. Is there anyway that you could let us know when they are back in stock? Thanks for your time. Diane
Tanya, excellent information and techniques as always! This is so easy, even I can do it, lol! Thank you again for your incredible contributions to the Glass Artist community! ("Maggie"). ❣
Your graphic for the 28mm cabochon indicates 3 pieces of 3mm glass followed by "the stack should be a total of 15mm." So, either that stack is 9mm, or the glass has to be 5mm to get to 15mm with just three pieces. Could you clear up the conflict please? Thanks! Great video and a very useful approach!😁
I see you haven’t been active in about a year but I just stumbled on your channel. Very helpful advise. I’m just starting out with a microwave kiln . Hope all is well with you .. Thank you.
I'm a bit confused. For the larger cabochon, you said to use 3 pieces of 3mm thick glass. But the instructions that appeared on the right side of the screen said the stack should be 15mm thick. Three pieces of 3mm thick glass is only 9mm. So is it a 9mm thick stack? Or a 15mm thick stack?
Thank you for watching Tanya Veit and AAE Glass @barbarapearson1653 we appreciate it! These new jewelry settings are the best we have had in over 10 years! We have never done it, but you might be able to figure out a way to rig these to be a broach. Have a great day rb.gy/pqmus

Of course!
Great video! One question: At 20:40 the text overlay says to cut 3 3mm pieces and the stack should be 15mm tall -- shouldn't that be 9mm?

Thanks for the video - I love these findings! The hardest part is cutting a perfect square!! Can't wait to try!
Hi Tanya, thank you so much! Do you have a formula for 20mm rounds?
Great tutorial. What is bullsete gel? and could you do this in a microwave kiln?

It goes by weight. If you do the formula, it will work! Thanks for watching

Are these on the web site?
Does it need to be dichro clear or can it be dichro-black? Did you try that?
have you considered some of these settings as brooches (broaches)?

For the 28 mm you mention 3-0.75" squares, but the text states 15mm high. Just a typo, perhaps? Thanks for the great info!
I don't have a kiln..
❤
