I agree with you on that. Carrack did a good job performing this track however no one can sing this song better Timothy B. Schmit, in my opinion.

I think it needs to be slower how the eagles do it. Love his song the living years tho. infact tried to call my dad for his birthday today but he blocked my number cos he uses meth and needs someone to blame for his misfortunes so chooses me his oldest son who tought him to talk/walk after his first stroke although id rather it be me than one of my other siblings. notpp or even comments just had to get it off my chest... Thanks you tube.

don't know much about music do you? Or voices....he obviously is under the weather....this man's voice is usually impeccable.....he sounds tired to me...maybe even sick......bite it kid
Schmidt has a higher voice than most people, but Paul Carrack's voice is more well-rounded and he is older and has lost some range at the top end, but he's still fantastic.
he preferred that tone that's all
he is not ian Gillian in the 70's
