I was chest xrayed 17 times 32 days after an injury. When I refused the 18th I was immediately handcuffed and brought to SHU for 33 days investigation for refusing an order at Talladega Fed PEn. Ive lost 3 teeth. Etc etc. I also taught a stock market, FDIC, Basic finance, basic math basic reading yoga and guitar classes. I was shipped from Talladega for teaching unauthorized classes to Miami where I continued teaching. Thank you for these videos. Tough time in my life.
Justin I just wanted to thank you for helping others understand so many of the variables I'm sure you find in federal prison. As they say...if you fail to prepare you prepare to fail and watching your videos has been extremely good and informative. I am impressed at the amount of knowledge you have with regard to so many of the questions that so many individuals have before they begin to serve their time. Thank you again for the support, the information and truth about your experiences.
Justin, The reason you have had such success since your release is because of all you did while you were in prison... Well that, and your incredible work ethic that you put forward day in and day out. Follow Justin's advice, work hard at it, and you will succeed. its a guarantee!
You're very welcome, David. It pleases me to know my work helped you. If you would like to receive notices I send out to people in prison, feel free to add me to corrlinks at info@whitecollaradvice.com. I trust you will find my articles helpful. JP
I find it interesting that your advice in this video, while tailored to a prison experience, mirrors very closely the advice I give to entry-level (and some experienced) team members at work. Following this type of thinking can turn average or below-average people into outliers. I'm not suggesting to be non-social at work. But keeping your routine, emotions, activities, and involvement under one's own control is absolutely critical to success. Another key to success that can't be understated is your example of not complaining, not making excuses, and taking responsibility. This was a really encouraging video to me, even though I have nothing to do with the criminal justice system.
This is good video. Good point about so much anecdotal information. Every persons experience is different and I believe there is something to be learned from everyone. Warnings to be heeded positive examples to follow as well. My takeaways here are: 1-) DON'T COMPLAIN 2-) Set my own schedule where possible 3-) Exercise hard to help me sleep
I love how u show and talk about other things gs that possibly can bring u gain or profit w out saying read my blog or buy my book, I subbed just for that. UA-cam can be a buisness and u don't need 100k subs to make money on youtube. Anyways that's why I subbed plus your professionalism w the way u talk!
Hi Justin i am so glad you are there for people like us, i am surrendering to hazelton camp for one year and a day, i own an export comapy is it possible to talk to my managers from camp to run the show, and since i am self employed how does halfwayhouse would work for me, my office is at home. thanks
Ist time viewer, good video.... *BUT I AINT EVER GOING BACK* _state prison in indiana_ level 1 10 years ago.. but been to jail many times and the last time I went it changed my life and I made a decision to never go back We're u @ club fed? Or at a gangster prison?
What you didn't mention although I understand is the fact that the same doctors and dentists that are treating you like crap on the bottom of their shoes... Are the next ones to be arrested for prescription or Medicaid fraud and end up in the cubicle next door.
You will do great! I have had many friends and clients serve time at Lewisburg. Work hard, and form a proactive routine from that first day. The time will fly by, if you are productive. I would be happy to send you my book, Lessons From Prison, to help you prepare. The book is free. Just send me an email to jp@whitecollaradvice.com. Be well, Justin
Thank you, I will shoot you an e-mail in a bit! Hardest part is leaving my family behind... but I did violate federal law and the judge said I needed to be punished...
