- This is what music is all about. This is what music can be. I was almost at a loss for words after experiencing Pierce's beautiful voice, the countless instruments, the loop, and the Elvis incorporation. Idk if I was extra sensitive because I was watching ASMR before doing this video, but this absolutely grabbed me.

Never expected anyone to react to this! When I got this albumn back on CD, it was packaged as a medicine - the CD was inside a big blister pack inside a cardboard medical themed box. Like you were buying a giant headache tablet.
I got the 'special one' - 12 x 3'' cd tablets in blisterpack...worth a few bob now

That’s the whole point of that first line. It’s to voice the actual fact and how amazing that we really are floating in space. Earth is our spaceship and we are floating in space. Try getting your head around that is the point.
Need to listen to this whole album in one go for it to work really. This is the opener and goes into a much faster song straight after

Masterpiece
Love anything using Pachelbel Canon in D progression. This is might be my fav rendition other than maybe the original Pachelbel version.
See if you can find the version with the added verses. I know there’s a live recording from a concert in Reykjavik on UA-cam. The added verses are poignant, devastating, and beautiful.
This is a beautiful reaction, this is one of my favourites songs and bands, there's so much happening, so beautiful and so unique, it genuinely makes me feel I'm floating in space x

Actually prefer the album version slightly I think. Can't recommend listening to the whole thing enough, it's a masterpiece.

Obligatory... you need to check out Spacemen 3... so hard to tell you where to start, but Jason Pierce's previous band - with Sonic Boom as the other singer / songwriter / guitarist, were utter genius.
The live version of Suicide from the CD release of Playing with Fire is still chef's kiss.
the version on the Dreamweapon EP is amazing too.
