I am an Indian, from INDIA. I probably am the ONLY INDIAN who loves Bluegrass gospel the most, in India. I love this music so much, that i married a Southern Belle from Florida, to pursue my dream of being an American and listen to Bluegrass music all day. It was my Dad who introduced me to American music since i was child in India. My Dad was a great fan of Country music, and that love got developed in me as well, as every morning before i could go to school, i would listen to cassettes of Country Music, of the likes Johnny Cash, Don Williams and Jim Reeves. My Dad passed away in Jan 2016, his dream was to visit a country music concert. Being in India, we can never enjoy, country music, as no bands visit India. As a potential Immigrant to America, in the future, i want to see a Bluegrass gospel concert, someday. In memory of my Dad, i give this honor to the beautiful music of America. Thank you for what you do, and GOD BLESS Y'ALL, and GOD BLESS AMERICA.
punedav007.... That's awesome :)
I would you my friend if you are hearing the message? I hope you are, and as far as I am concerned there is always a place in america for people who want too really be an american!
sorry i missed the word ask. the sentence should have said. "i would ask you my friend if you are hearing the message?
Cool. I hope you get here.
And God bless you too punedav007!!!! Hope you’re enjoying America and that great bluegrass music! Have you tried learning to play it yourself? That more than doubles the fun! Where in Fla. was your Southern Belle from? I live in Jupiter.
To all of you who are reading the comment section God Bless You and Your Family.
Thank you , Ricky . God bless you too :)
God bless all of you all may the Lord watch over you and all you do and may the Lord God watch over you while you sleep

What a comfort in those words.
This is the first song i listened by The Purple Hulls. I remember that I couldn't believe what I was listening. From that day, I became an "incondicional fan" of this Group. And I pray God in Jesus Christ for these musicians!

LOVE it!! Good old gospel bluegrass, you can hear it from the red hills of central Alabama all up through Tennessee the Carolinas and the Blueridges of the Virginia highlands, its Gods country, and Gods own music I have to believe.
Lovin the music from the hills of KY. Nothin like family celebrating The Living Word!
Fantastic! The harmonies are so tight! This is such an amazing hymn. As a guitar player, the banjo and guitar solos were killer.
Fantastic! I'm a devout atheist but the power of old time gospel always blows me away!
not only are the musican above par, but the vocals and harmonies are stellar! thanks a lot for this.
That's what I love about gospel music. It doesn't need all of that fancy sound to get the point across. I love how humble bluegrass is.
That was absolutely fabulous. I'm at a loss for words. I just don't have them. Simply beautiful.
I love the old hymns, and LOVE them "grassed up!". These kids are talented and unpretentious, hope success does not ruin their testimony.
👍 "...oh what peace we often forfeit, oh what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer." 🎶🎶🎶Thank you!

I'm Italian, and this music gives me inspiration and let me focus on how complicate, wonderful and amazing music is. Loved this track, especially the choirs and the mandolin. Greetings from Italy and may God bless you and your fantastic music!
No clue why this was suggested considering I'm not religious at all but the overall performance was much better than I expected.
Jesus Loves You!!! (EVERYBODY)

that was absolutely superb. This was one of my daddy's favorite hymns, brings back such great memories of my youth.
Nice goin guys -- excellent musicianship and you got the melody right -- most people don't.

Class of '01!!! WHOOOPPPPP!!!!
What a smile this gave me. Love the family harmony. I am living in West Africa and this just made my day.
Sounds good, though I'll bet that Joseph Scriven never envisaged his hymn being performed like this. A fellow Banbridge man, from County Down in Northern Ireland, Joseph Scriven penned this hymn to comfort his mother, who was missing him after he emigrated to USA.
Another Ulster man worth checking out is Alexander Irvine, a missionary to the Bronx who came from Pogue's Entry in Antrim. He wrote a book entitled "My Lady of the Chimney Corner" dedicated to his mother.
My own mother passed away on Christmas Eve 2008, aged 92. Hoping to place a wreath on Mum's grave before Christmas Day.
I`m in my sixth decade as an atheist but I adore Bluegrass Gospel.
Me too. I'm a northern atheist that absolutely loves bluegrass gospel. I was raised on all of the classic gospel songs but not like this. The family ties add so much to this performance and bluegrass music in general. Katy is particularly adorable in this video :)
Thank you both...I am a believer, I love this music as well.
You are heading down a dark path, what are you so proud of? that you are a none believer in God , please seek Jesus he is the only way to Heaven.
Read a Bible. I will not read nasty negative comments because those are of the devil. Please, please wake up. I will say a prayer for you. Find Jesus he LOVES YOU.
Carola Wingert This isn't about us. It's about Katy, Penny, Ben and their music. They are a beautiful, talented and God loving family and I have all the respect in the World for them.
Carola Wingert A couple of issues, I`m not proud, or for that matter ashamed with regard to my lack of faith in the supernatural. It is just how I am. The other point, I`ve absolutely no desire whatsoever to achieve immortality. I`d like to live to be 160 and be fit and healthy right up until then but with our current medical science that isn`t going to happen. Maybe in a century or two if we`ve not screwed up the human race by then. The idea though of immortality to me is scary and absurd in equal measures.
Marvelous, may the Lord continue to bless your creative gifts to the Glory of His wonderrful name!
Love from the UK
America is God’s country and has introduced so many gospel songs to the world keep it going guys
Love to see young people in this. Can I play bass with you? I' m only 61.
