I'm from Kilgore and we love these gals, and Ben! Their dad, Mac as he was known to most of us, was a great man. You don't need to take my word for it, just listen to his girls and how they carry themselves and there love of God and sharing it with others. Ya'll have made your daddy proud. Keep up the good work and may God continue to bless ya'll!!!
Andy Baxter Do they still sell peas and sing? Just curious because my MIL lives in Kilgore, and I visit sometimes. I am originally from Longview, but moved away last year. I would love to buy from them, and listen to them play. TIA.
When you put God first, as these young ladies have done, He will take care of your every need. I am so thankful that I have had the opportunity to meet this family, the are the most genuine folks I have ever known. God is good!
Not so fast young man❣️ We lay in the grave unaware until Jesus returns for His faithful sons and daughters. We will rise to meet Him in the air. When He returns our reward is with Him. Immortality will be the reward to live with our Savior forever. Until then we are sleeping as for a little moment. God bless our search for Him in His holy word ❣️
May I share biblical truth about the seventh day sabbath created in the garden of eden blessed and honored by Jesus Himself? Genesis 2:2&3. Exodus 20:8-11 and Exodus 31:12-18. Please pray and consider the Bible truth that overcomes the deception of sun day worship. When we rest is who we worship. Be blessed in our search for God in His holy word ❣️

you guys are awesome Ive been listining to you 3 for quite a few years your all great not with just music but as human beings and you have a big fan in me!!!
Wonderful story girls! I lost my Daddy in 2010 after only a 16 day battle with cancer from the day he was diagnosed to the day he was gone. Also, he was never a farmer but sold farm parts his whole life and knew many farmers just like your Dad all over Northeast Louisiana. When I grew up and lived in a home of my own I decided to grow a large garden a by myself with absolutely no knowledge of how to grow a garden! Daddy was sick and walked with a cane at this point due to strokes but never missed the opportunity to sit in the shade at the end of my rows and give me pointers and just be there to be proud of his oldest, single girl that he suddenly started called the "baby"! Thanks for sharing your story! By the way, I know people in y'alls town!
I am so sorry to hear about your father but your talent and beauty has given me and my family (lost our father to cancer) so much joy and pleasure. You are Blessed! I listen to The Purple Hulls almost every morning on the treadmill. Crush of Katy!
Right there with ya Spike. Taking nothing away from Penny and Ben...all incredibly talented but I watch the What a Friend we have in Jesus video over and over with eyes glued on Katy!
Just heard them in Bellville at Coushatte Ranch. Fantastic Musicians. Heard their story about their Dad. Happy to see them in God's hands working the farm, and playing the music too.
Great family, I wish we could see more like these. I lived in east Texas when I was younger. I picked purple hulls too! Love those peas, I'd love to have some, we can't grow them in Missouri! Great job on the music.
God bless you girls and your family. You embody all the values that make me proud to be a Texan. I wish you health and happiness. BTW, great pickin'!!!
