I think something to take note of is that pre time skip Mitsuki and Cho-Cho teased Sarada for having feelings for Boruto. Post time skip it’s been 3 years and she has had all that time to ponder that very question. Like you said about Fairy Tail it’s similar in some ways.
Yeah I think she finally understood her feelings that everyone was questioning her about. Even Eida asked her too but she couldn't say anything. I think after chapter 79-80, after Boruto gets his eye cut protecting her. She figured it out that he means a lot to her and she means a lot to him especially to sacrifice ones eye.
There was a scene in one of the early episodes, showing Shikadai with a smirk on his face, which meant he was agreeing with Mitsuki saying that Boruto and Sarada being a 'nice couple!'
There isn't much evidence that Boruto is attracted to anyone besides the occasional blush in the Manga, but as far as Sarada goes she is 100% in love with Boruto with the countless hints in the Manga. All that said, I think Boruto will indeed fall in love with Sarada.

And we have seen how much grow they had over the years since one wants to be the Shadow Hokage and the other is an Uchiha dreamed of being an Hokage. And since her father Sasuke is now a tree and can foreseen a horrific future that leads up to the Timeskip, I can see why Bouro doesn’t look directly at her when Code attack Konoha. And ask her to stay alive for him. Boruto x Sarada have such a great chemistry since Boruto: Naruto the Movie and the pair have become a fan favorite. I hope Mikio Ikemoto, Ukyō Kodachi, and Arturo franchise creator Masashi Kishimoto takes their relationship to another level in the ongoing Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga series.
I'm worried about Sumire and the look on her face. She stated in chapter 18 that shes jealous of other girls liking Boruto. Is her relationship with Sarada going to get strained? Is she going to do something crazy like back stab Sarada? Or maybe I'm over thinking things lol.
Honestly now that you said it. I think it's possible that Sumire might betray Sarada in the future. Maybe Sumire doesn't like it as she stated back then so its possible she teams up with Kawaki to get revenge or spills the beans to Eida or someone. She may want to get rid of Sarada so she can have Boruto to herself.

I agree, I was talking in the video about how the leader claw grime is suspect. I do think that he ate Isshiki/Jigens remains or his data was previously in the tentails which explains why he looks more like Isshiki. It's even possible that Code somehow influenced that particular Shinju by his blood/chakra which went to them.
No that’s not ishikis clone it’s the ten tails itself when bug freed the tentails it turned into a version of its own and remember what the Shinju said to Boruto that they have been able to come to through code but also they have the power to absorb any persons chakra who ever existed so what’s that hinting
In my opinion it's possible that if these tentails posses previous data from other planets. Then it could be that this leader shinju took on Isshikis form as Isshiki could have fed himself to the tree and revived through the karma and the tentails has his data already. Since this is Isshikis tentails so it maybe his personal pet in a way that took after it's owner. But as for the shinju being the tentails itself. It's hard to say because they did teleport elsewhere as soon as Boruto arrived and we did see the tentails in its main form. That form was not infused with Code but the grimes that came after were. In spoiler plus translation it says that boruto tells her that Sasuke saved him because of her. Page 37: "Master used his life to save me". This implies that Sasuke is not in the picture anymore. Sarada may understand because Moegi and a few others turned into a tree around the village so she probably knows that Sasuke is also a tree since Boruto and Code met a lot over the timeskip and that Boruto returned alone twice now. Luana translation in a few words says that " "Sasuke saved him" then completes it by saying "because of you" " This could imply that Sarada understands Boruto and knows that he has no one left now after Sasuke got taken. So she probably knows his fate and feels for him. We'll get more info once the translation comes out.

That's why I think that he'll become an Uchiha overtime as Kishimoto seems to be going down that route. He made Boruto into Sasuke and Kawaki into Naruto. Even Kawaki joking about Boruto being an Uchiha makes it sound that they're gonna make him one. He'll still be a Uzumaki but I think he'll take the Uchiha name as Sasuke/Sarada did do a lot for him.
As for the the Uzumaki name, both Himawari(if Daemon is endgame for her) and Kawaki will carry the Uzumaki name.
But only time will tell. Maybe they will implement both names. Boruto Uzumaki Uchiha.

In spoiler plus translation it says that boruto tells her that Sasuke saved him because of her. Page 37: "Master used his life to save me". This implies that Sasuke is not in the picture anymore. Sarada may understand because Moegi and a few others turned into a tree around the village so she probably knows that Sasuke is also a tree since Boruto and Code met a lot over the timeskip and that Boruto returned alone twice now.
Luana translation in a few words says that " "Sasuke saved him" then completes it by saying "because of you" "
This could imply that Sarada understands Boruto and knows that he has no one left now after Sasuke got taken. So she probably knows his fate and feels for him.

But with Naruto, he didn't hug Sakura back. Sarada's hug for Boruto was different. Boruto returned her feelings back. Even the dialog makes it imply that Boruto and Sarada sought comfort with each other in that moment.
