People’s been telling him his on the spectrum and needs help for years. A lot end up saying mean things cuz it’s extremely frustrating to see him in denial and repeating morally dubious behaviour, a lot of times hurting other people.
Some people dislike him from the getgo but a lot of people simply ran out of patience with Daniel. Every time you think his finally going to get better he finds a way to upset that expectation. Saying he was just ‘trolling’ or pretending to ‘reflect ‘. That’s how a lot of people come to doubt this video even tho it sounds honest.
Like a true Autist he knows every issue about himself, the info just never really makes any meaningful impact in his head. I pray to god it’s different this time.

Very relatable Dan. I’m very familiar with the symptoms since my Mom tried to (false) diagnose me in high school. Not understanding and/or adhering to social cues/norms is the largest one.
That trait is pretty apparent, but I also think some people are just more individualistic. Doesn’t always mean autism, but sometimes it does. Just keep doing what your doing and don’t give up☺️

I have autism as well (as the term '"asperger" is no longer used) and since I discovered my condition in 2021 it didn't take much time for me to wonder if you have it too. I've been following you for years and I've always felt strangely connected to you, as if we were from the same planet. Understanding and accepting my condition has only helped me, Daniel, it did not make any less of me, it was the opposite. I am very happy that you are investigating this matter now and that you are able to talk about it, openly with no filters, as always. I wish you only the best and I am certain for now on your life will feel better.

But I commented to him about it awhile back. Not sure if I'm one of the comments he seen but it's kinda cool that he addressed it. And his story is similar to mine. I tend to find enemies more than friends online. I had a former friend online who did have Asperger's and remember he was odd. But not dumb. Smart in some areas. Dumb in some. Like me. I have been watching your videos for years and I always related to you in a way that I also never really understood people around me. I was diagnosed with BPD and GAD, and I never really felt like I belonged or that I was understood by others. I tried my best going to therapy for 5 years, taking medication and doing everything I could to make people like me. But I still felt rejected and like no one ever tried to understand my view and thoughts on different things.
I was often just told that I am the wrong one, that I am oversensitive, too naive, paranoid or that I care too much. I also never had a job where I´d get along with everybody, there was always at least one person I disliked. My ideas were also often rejected and because I still struggle with low sel-esteem and rejection sensitivity, it caused me so much stress I either got fired or quit because of a mental breakdown. I do think that treatment is important, especially in my case, but I don´t think that because I have a mental illness that everything about the way I think is wrong and terrible. I did many things I regret and behaved in dysfunctional ways in the past, but now I can say I improved so much, but people still don´t really care because I still see the world differently from them. Most people don´t want to understand even when you are not harming anyone and genuilelly try to be a good person.

At first I thought this was satire but he released this video like a day after his other video. So it’s either he scheduled this ahead of time and forgot about uploading this or he had some episode where he felt like he had to post this right now immediately after the last video. Danny boy I hope you’re sincere in this. I feel like the impromptu nature of this video means in fact you are being serious about this.
Disagreeing with people because they’re a logical means you’re autistic then I’m fucking autistic as fuck dude. I had the same issues with my coworkers and people at school back home. I think there’s nothing wrong with seeing the stupidity in every day bullshit as humans do. And I hate having to listen and do things a certain way just because somebody older or in a higher status told me to do it that way.
The difference is Daniel you never had any fucking mentors growing up to guide you to show you what it’s like to be a real fucking man. I know this comments getting a little bit long but you’ve set a fire in me Daniel. Dude I know that you don’t listen to a single thing I ever recommend or say but, it’s never too late to change dude. You didn’t have a single male role model teaching you how to be a man and teaching you the shit that you shouldn’t do.
I’ve had issues in the past where I thought I was right. But we’re having good mentors and people around me who gave me genuine advice that cared about me help me learn humility and know when to self reflect and when to tell myself I’m wrong.
Most of the shit society tells us to do that’s wrong is wrong. Like murdering somebody or stealing from your neighbor etc. But when it comes to apologizing to a friend because you forgot they were going out of town that week and you were supposed to remember. And then you get ridiculed for not remembering your friend had a business trip or something. Not like a birthday or their mom‘s death anniversary or whatever. But just them going out of town and you’re not even their Business partner or wife. And then they try to gaslight you and say that you’re a horrible person and that your behavior is not normal. If you have those good friends around you and you have a good foundation of knowing who you are and what your beliefs and principles are then it’s a lot harder to be swayed by these asshole comments from people who don’t matter.
The problem is Daniel is that you never fucking got to sit down and actually plan out some shit to figure out what you really wanted. So I think we’re all warranted a couple mistakes. I wouldn’t have done things like you but I respect the fact that you did and that’s why I keep supporting you and watching you. Because I do think it’s some point you can and will change for the better. And until that time I’m just gonna keep watching. Don’t give up buddy I believe in you beat the ball.
Also sorry if there’s typos or grammar mistakes I’m using the voice to text option on my phone.

Dan, you are on the spectrum (I believe so). Eye contact is difficult for you even with camera, you feel a distance from neurotypical people in thought processes, opinions and behavior, you learnt to mask on your own like every neurodivergent person. Consider the fact that someone has advised you to get checked a blessing as a significant amount of our alikes spend too much of their life undiagnosed and confused. Acknowledgement of one's neurodiversity is a relieving process of finally having an answer to why things were the way they were in life, accepting oneself and embracing the unique traits rather than supressing them. I wish you strength on this journey and may you find happiness and fulfillment in a way that suits you.

I feel like living in a society like this we either have to do our own thing and be independent, is what I think you did, or submit to it, which I do. It's just easier for me personally to do what I am told and not draw in too much attention or start fights, cos most of the time I dont really feel like socializing or teaming up with people at all. Mostly cos I feel like I'm a burden and prefer doing things my way and not do stuff what the bigger group wants. Been wondering if I'm on the autism spectrum tbh.

I think I recall you posted a video a few years back with a black screen/title saying you have Asperger’s…I haven’t consistently kept up but for the most part I thought a lot of your opinions were satire to stir the pot and bring views. Nonetheless, they’re fun to watch

I always thought Daniel made provocative opinion videos not because he genuinely held those opinions but because he needed enough click bait/rage bait to bring more engagement to his dying UA-cam channel.

howdy, i am most likely on the spectrum also, it doesn't necessarily mean there is anything wrong with yr brain, just different, i,m very surprised that you haven't taken a deeper dive into understanding more about why this neurological divergence has occurred, its quite interesting, and IMO, quite freeing. my life story has alot of similarities to yours, ex gaijin, hangukmal do chokum halsu isumnida .ore no moto yome ga hanguk saram isosoyo. like you i,m a bit of a hikkikomori .
so many inventors of history, to whom we owe our luxurious existence to, are most likely on the spectrum, Zuck, tesla, musk, gates, etc, etc
look into how usually the brain prunes many of the neuronal connections of infants and doesn't do that much pruning in divergents, hence our difference of aspect of our surroundings.
another term for us might be homo sapiens sapiens or homo sapiens squared. yr dad, from the little i know was most likely also on the spectrum n possibly yr sis, although females are able to mask their difference, because females naturally have better social skills .

Honestly Daniel i think you have a very wrong conception of autism a lot of people with autism can be very intelligent especially people with high functioning autism( like Elon Muskt for example he stated once that he has asperger autism) and often have very unique talents were they really excel and interests they are really good at just like you with your drawing for example or others in mathematics or engineering. People with autism usually just have a quite different thought process than "normal" people and so with that usually express some behavior that can be odd for normal people (like repetitive behavior or difficulties to keep eye contact)and so often have problems to fit into our concept of normal everyday life, I do know that because i work with some people that have autism.

I thought you had autism and mentioned it in one comment. Its no big deal (I have adhd myself). I truly think the most unique and interesting people are neuro-diverse. The only kicker is social situations as sometimes neuro-divergent people come off as dickheads when in reality we just process the world in a differently.
Also, respect for addressing it as more people being open makes it more normalised

This is a good video. I think I have got a bit of autism too. I like having my special interests, I don't like socialising much, I have language / memory difficulties, I don't get why anyone would want to spend time drinking at pubs, sitting at bars, I don't like talking to people at work, but 'have to'. I don't like Christmas Parties, I would much rather spend time alone with my special interests than socialising and try to understand what people are talking about. I have strong opinions and like to be logical but I also have emotions as 'sensitive' to angry people. I don't understand why people do stupid things when there is a criminal offence, it is just stupid. I don't understand why anyone would be stupid enough to do recreational drugs, it is just pointless, a risk to one's life and health

I just don't see autism. My ex husband is autistic. One of the biggest characteristics is that they are very honest. They typically don't act deviously. Quirky yes, but not deceitful. Being unfaithful in a relationship would be untypical for an autist. Just my experience.

Daniel is more of a sociopath than autistic. He doesn’t feel sympathy for anyone else’s pain and he does things for his own pleasure and benefit. I don’t think anyone has told him this.
      Also, it’s “atypical”.

Idk, I'd say you are definitely an introvert. You are more interested in things than people, which isn't that uncommon for males, but you seem not to enjoy or need socializing if it doesn't lead to cereal. I'd not worry too much about it.

You might be autistic, but I still agree with you on a decent amount of stuff too. Im not autistic, but the problem is you dont have shame or social tact. Not that you're exactly wrong. Also, I was bullied too and I am quirky but mostly normal. Those experiences alone can make you hate people regardless

@Paradox I just had a realization. I've been watching Daniel for almost 4 years now And I've never seen him in distress. Most youtubers that I follow for that long usually have one episode where they cry or really sad on camera And they share certain feelings out to their viewers. No matter what Daniel's going through he always seems distant. I know these things because I'm like Daniel. But I'm like Daniel if he did some therapy. You see I'm talking about me now which is another red flag. That's what Daniel does it's always about him. I really feel sorry for these women. But this channel can be entertaining 🤣
