I went through a 2-3 year period of feeling like this in my late 20's.It's a lot more common than you probably realise. Western society (and by Western society, that includes Australia, Japan and South Korea) is a very lonely place for a huge % of the population. It just seems an inevitable consequence of a highly developed and competitive society. This feeling will go soon though. As you get a little older, you'll realise your own mortality and how short life is. You'll realise that there is no point to feeling as though you've failed as we all fail in the end, regardless of who we are.
I mean you lived a good portion of your life. Not having to slave at a 9 to 5. Just traveling and actually living life. You may had not been productive but you damn sure have a lot of experiences and memories. That most don't have.
