John has so much darkness in him which would bring back all the darkness that sara worked so hard to get through. There’s a reason why John usually walks alone unless it’s Zatanna who is the only one who can really get through to John and truly understands him. Sara and Snart or Sara and Oliver are way better together but Ava is great too and they work the best together.
John is very much like Nyssa since they're both heavy-accented heroes with connections to ancient magic and Sara dated both of them afted they saved her life (Nyssa saved Sara from drowning when she was sucked out of the Amazo, and John put Sara's soul back in her body when she was feral from her resurrection). In a way, he romanced Sara because he reminded her of Nyssa
Ikr I don't like the Sara x John ship at all. I don't get why they didn't include Zatanna in the main Constantine series...she's a major character and John's main love interest in the comics.
I never saw Constantine because it only has one season, but I don't ship Sara and Constantine I did love this episode though before Ava and Sara were dating I like how they spiced up Sara's love life.
