I got to know John in Legends of Tomorrow and its hard seeing most of the fandom hate him for being arrogant and rude. His character is so muchness more and if people would only understand him, they would see his behaviour was born out of survival. I appreciate and care for his character so much, thank you for this edit.
Are you sure? From what I read on the internet comments, most of the fans love him... a lot. John Constantine IS arrogant and rude, albeit slick and witty. LoT version is the PG version of him. The comic book version even more rude and dare I say... heartless.
John is an insane paradox, he always hates himself for making shitty choices, and he makes shitty choices because he hates himself. And on the other hand the negativity in him attracts the same shit.
I’m so happy they brought back John in Legends after his show got cancelled, but it sucks that the side characters never show up again (apart from Astra)
we dont see the softer, more loving side of John until he falls in love with Zara... he pushes people away because he doesnt want to get hurt, or hurt anyone. Matt will always be constantine to me, and he is the best version ive seen so far,
