Hi Alina, this video is absolutely amazing, the jungle, the trees, the blue sky, the beaches and sea with many levels of blue, but most because of your beautiful smile 😘
I love when you smile again, forget the bad experience, I also had it in Miami, so I´m so glad your beautiful smile back to us, those places seem to be real paradise on earth, peaceful and relaxing, you know how to pick them up, what a life you have now, in a good way, we need more videos like this one. Happy new year Alina
Thanks for sharing, Alina! It’s so good to see you enjoying what you love (traveling) and sharing this beautiful place with us. Been patiently waiting to see your face again and know that you’re well. Peace and grace!
Hey Alina! I'm from Medellín but currently live in Santa Marta. How good to see that you visited Tayrona Park, it is of another level and how good that you were able to overcome that moment in the Rodadero, I saw the news with great helplessness.
Hello Alina: Yes, I have visited Tayrona Park since 1985, and in July 2024 it was my 52nd visit. There have really been so many visits, because it is a place that comforts my body and spirit. I have always done it in camping mode and I prepare my own food. The minimum stays have been 4 nights and the longest 18 days. Well, over the years I can say that the park has had marked geological and social transformations, from a tourist point of view. I loved it much more before than now, because I am allergic to crowds of people on beaches and roads. Now I look for places further away from the beach, even if I have to travel further to get to them each day. Well, this is something I can tell you about my experience in Tayrona Park.
Harriet and I are so glad that you are Well and Safe. . Tayrona National Park is stunning. The beaches are a paradise. Thank You for all you do for us in all your beautiful vlogs. You asked where else should you visit in Columbia. Harriet had been to the City of Medellin , had a wonderful time visting Botero Plaza , The Museum of Antioquia and The Famous commune El Poblado. The City of Medellin has a certain charm . It had a reputation in the past of being dangerous and unsafe. That's gone. But like any place you visit , you know best concerning your safety protocols. Sending it right back at you , LOL 💖💖💖💖💖 Jim and Harriet. Richmond, Va.
You really covered the area in a good way. One thing that attracts us in your channel is the fact you like being in places off the beaten path or normal tourist places. You are right, you really don't get the full benefits without going to areas like this. The path was amazing and also enjoyed your showing of the beaches and wonderful park area. I have one question, how was the insect population? Did you find them controllable and maybe certain times of the day they may be unbearable? Main thing I love about this video, was to see you more relaxed and with that beautiful smile of yours, that is the real Alina we love to see and to know you are OK. Keep going, you are someone that I know will never disappoint us in anything you share. Cheers!!
@Hub of Truth by Michael, Well, technically that is not true. At least not in Colombia... She's just been going to the places everybody goes. And seriously, downtown Bogotá, Cartagena, Rosario Islands, Tayrona Park and Medellin (where she is planning to go next) are all the typical tourist areas everyone visits so she is not showing anything unusual. If she were showing places like Puerto Nariño in the Amazon, Caño Cristales river, Mavecure Hills or even not so distant places like Tota Lagoon or colonial towns like Villa de Leyva, Barichara or the Chicamocha Canyon, your comment would hold, but this is not the case, unfortunately. The sad thing is that she would be at less risk of being robbed in any of these not so well known places than in the typical Bogota, Cartagena, Medellin, Cali cities.

Great video and happy to see you in better emotional state. You ought to try the 3 day hike to the "Ciudad Perdida". Maybe even visiting Minca. Take care.
Watching your video , can’t wait to go back to Tayrona National Park , I went there three years ago in May 2019 , it wasn’t to packed at that time and I think it’s a good month to go , as well as the end of July and all august , those months aren’t “high season” in Colombia and it’s supposed to be dry weather, I’m glad you are getting better after the terrible experience , despite of this I can assure you most of the people here are nice and friendly 💖, by the way go to “eje cafetero” there are beautiful towns and breathtaking landscapes , and come to Medellín I’m sure you’ll enjoy here .
i strongly recommend you visit National park Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, exactly Minca and enjoy lakes, waterfall, rivers, beautiful views around the mountains, etc.
I know that you have a bad experience in the place that I was born (Santa marta) but for me many of tourists place that you have visited are safe !. no be afraid of it and enjoy colombia.
I am glad that you were able to recover after the very negative incident in Santa Marta!, and you are lucky to be in Tayrona Park, which is indeed a very unique landscape given the unusual location of the high mountains, the jumble, the snow, and the Caribbean beaches all in one place.

Cheers!!
Thank you! Yes, there's primarily mosquitos that you have to watch out for and at night. Bringing good bug spray with you is a must.
@@AlinaMcleod I'm glad you still enjoying Colombia.
@@manuelcorrea2365 Sorry but you do not understand the post and therefore your comment does not fit in what was said. Anyone who follows Alina, knows that we all support her in whatever she chooses to do in her travels. Any post that was made here is for the purpose of showing support and love for who she is. It has no place for reading something into her narrative what so ever. I hope you will understand her style some day, you may understand her drive and determination. My comment stands, but thank you for your comment even if it did not belong here. Cheers!!
@@huboftruthbymichael1921 Your post clearly says: *_"One thing that attracts us in your channel is the fact you like being in places off the beaten path or normal tourist places",_* my response to that sentence is *_"NO! That is not true, at least not in Colombia. She has been to the very normal/average tourist places everyone goes!"._* I clearly understood the post, if you meant something completely different then you need to improve your redaction skills as my message is a completely accurate response to a statement from your original post that, for the record, is not true! Is it clear??
Gracias por seguir mostrando estos bellos paisajes de Colombia, lamentamos el desagradable suceso que sufrió días anteriores
Very beautiful! I can tell you're having a great time! Enjoy your remaining time in Colombia! Cheers!
10:00 Wow, love the beach! No crowds at all! Looks like Hawaii, where I'll be soon, but I'll be paying much more there
Amazing place is Colombia each time my
Country surprising , its diversity clime people, places ..
Beautiful scenery! Just like the Konkan coast of India. Between Goa and Mumbai the coast looks exactly the same! Have a good time 😌
Thats Why Columbus thought he went actually to India.
i strongly recommend you visit National park Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, exactly Minca and enjoy lakes, waterfall, rivers, beautiful views around the mountains, etc.
I know that you have a bad experience in the place that I was born (Santa marta) but for me many of tourists place that you have visited are safe !. no be afraid of it and enjoy colombia.
I am glad that you were able to recover after the very negative incident in Santa Marta!, and you are lucky to be in Tayrona Park, which is indeed a very unique landscape given the unusual location of the high mountains, the jumble, the snow, and the Caribbean beaches all in one place.
me alegra que hayas superado esta experiencia del hurto de tus cosas , y ahora vives lo simple de mi pais...disfruta...
