Just recently, they say that both Cardinal Dolan and the Cardinal Archbishop of Boston are the two American Cardinals who have a good chance of being elected the next Pope but it is highly unlikely that an American will be elected.

Dolan is not following the laws of the Catholic Church, is he above the law? He is supposed to encourage us to follow the laws of God, so he is not being true to his calling, but will the Pope address this issue? That is a question I cannot find an answer to now! I am sad to say I am not sure that Pope Francis will be concerned about it when he himself breaks the laws of the church as well, as we have seen so many times. BY washing the feet of women, he is breaking with traditional regulations.

When the gay "marriage" legislation in NY was in the works, Dolan, and all the other Bishops of NY were totally silent on the matter and didn't issue any form of statement untill several days later. Plus, he spoke out so much about the HHS mandate, then turns around and invites Obama (the most anti-Catholic President ever) to a big dinner with lots of media present. I like what he says, but the doesen't back it up with any actions.
