My name is Eric and I travel with my cats, “Tara” & “Opie” in a 24ft 2001 Ford Tioga RV named “Freeda” and tow a 2014 Smart Car named “Tater Tot”. We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round since 2010.

Well Eric, sorry to hear that you’re no longer going to have the Class A. If that’s the case, please steam clean the carpet and vacuum the chairs in the your current RV. They look horrendous. As for your break situation, have you ever learned how to downshift an automatic? It’s super easy to do and safe if you’re having braking problems. Safe travels my friend. I hope you do at least elaborate about Miranda at some point. I know it's been a frustrating battle all the way through, but a short segment of a video just talking about what happened with it, why you got rid of it, whether or not you'll ever try again in the future, and what you learned could really help other nomads out there, too.

I always enjoy videos like these about RV and van life. They are inspiring. I have often thought of trying this way of life out, but I worry that being alone so much would not be good for my mental health. Luckily there is youtube to enjoy vicariously!

Eric, I’m not sure how long I’ve been watching your videos but I remember you selling one in a parking lot and then went and bought the Chevy class c that hated brake shoes. I was very big on traveling on my Harleys and sold them all and went and bought a new Class C back in 2018 because of your videos and I will say “that was the best move I ever made”!

I can understand your idle curiosity about Miranda, I've had the same.
He went through a lot, but if you've followed Eric for any length of time, almost a decade, he's done that with almost "every RV and van" that he's had.
Eric puts his whole heart and soul into everything he does, probably assuming it's going to be the right fit for the right situation, and then circumstances change his mind. The house, the recent van, the many motorcycles...long list, his life, and HIS choices.
That's natural, things happen.
When he bought Miranda, it was primarily because he was in a relationship where he thought he'd needed more room...that relationship failed, just like the RV did on so many occasions.
It was the reason he gave up his Class C, which I don't think he wanted to initially because he invested a lot of time in that.
Sometimes we just have to respect that things might be more complicated or painful and unnecessary to express. I'm certain there are things in your life that you don't mind sharing, and perhaps some things you choose to keep private.
He exposes enough of his life that some things aren't always necessary to share.
So whether he let it go, gave it to a friend, or he sold it...really isn't our business...it's gone, and he's an RV that makes him feel comfortable.
