Wow- what an accomplishment. I think there would be lots of people who would be interested from hearing from someone in a similar position! I hope you start creating.
This is so good, seeing somebody *not* falling into the trap of what "everybody else is telling you to do" and instead following their own heart and brain :) Having just started my own channel "for real" a couple of months ago, and now 8 videos in (yes, doing one video a week-ish, but from my own choice and available time) I can really see how easy it is to get caught up in the "one or two each week to pull new viewers in to the channel and keep the pressure up" mentality. Having grown from 20 subs 2 months ago to slightly more than 200 subs now 8 weeks later I can feel that itch in the back of my head: "put more time into each video, maybe the channel will grow even faster" and "maybe I could do one longer and one shorter video each week, keeping the flow of viewers more even" .... But I'm holding back and limiting myself to just once a week as long as time permits, and should I fall behind it doesn't matter, because there is always next week, and the most important part of this is having some fun, enjoying ourselves and not turn this into "work" :) Thanks for making this video, subbed for sure, have a great weekend :)
Thank you for your kind words & I agree completely. Sometimes, with the best intentions, we push ourselves too much and lose sight of the bigger goal: longevity and joy. Enjoy the process, Andres- we are all on this journey together.

Well done for making this video. So many folk start a channel and loose heart before they even begin. Its refreshing to hear you journey and for people to know its been the same for all of us. I started out trying to make a video on my phone. And I did! It only took 4 months! So not the fastest learner here. But I kept on one small step at a time. Thank you so much! I try to be the best person I can be. Don't be too hard on yourself- just record something even if it never gets posted. It gets better with practice. I recorded a birthday video this morning for a friend and it took me 6 attempts and 3 hours for a video that was 1:10 mins long! But it probably would have taken me most of the day 6 months ago.

This is Heaven loads of inspiration, much needed today! I love your wit and smile, totally relate with you. I'm 50 a year ago when I started my YT, its beyond my comfort zone and still pushing. Ssssh, we're only 35 💞 To all my fellow 35'ers here - let's keep grinding YT. Here's my 3 thoughts when im, feeling stuck: 1. One video a week will lead to clarity. 2. Progress over perfection. As an introvert, i learned to punch the fear 3. Action brings change Success to all of us! let's create rather than consume 👏
This is an excellent video. Your experience is a great example that you don’t need to be a “glamorous, late-teen-to-early-20s, ex-theater kid” to do well on UA-cam or other social media, nor do you have to follow the trends (publish once a week, doing a common editing style). UA-cam is a fabulous tool to use to help market a business or product. The change that UA-cam did where they pay by views versus pay by subscriptions has helped the “smaller” creators. There are many viewers that watch videos, especially story-style and how-to videos, that don’t subscribe to channels. Some of these creators with a small subscription count have videos out that with hundreds of thousands of views. PS - I just realized that saying “glamorous” may be taken the wrong way. I think you look incredible.
Thank you so much for this video❤, i'm just starting out on UA-cam and I am ironically camera shy, never even like taking pictures but you've given me inspiration.

It seems so overwhelming to learn. ❤ 🤔
Not gonna lie- it can be, but everyone starts somewhere and just starts by making tiny steps forward...sometimes, I feel that I am taking 1 step forward and then 2 steps back, but it's getting better! If you never start, you'll get nowhere.
Thank you so much for this video. I had been wanting to post for a couple of years yes years but never did because I have always let fear get to me. The older I get I decided I can't let the hold me back and finally decided to upload a video today. So with that being said good luck to us all trying to push ourselves to new adventures!!
You can do it!
You radiate a positivity and kindness that is just infectious! 🌼💕 I'm so thankful to you for this video, as it's just the motivation I needed to get going! 💯⚡ I have so many ideas drafted and have designed graphics for videos, but then my introverted self gets stuck in my head about the camera-shy part and nothing progresses 🤭😅 thanks again & happy to be a new subscriber!! 💖💐💖🌈✨
Hi Joanne, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this topic. Your interpretation is so straightforward and simple. I instantly liked it. Wish you all the best :)
Glad you found it useful!
This message was something I really needed to hear. I'm starting a new business this year and it kicks off in July. Thank you for the inspiring message to just be myself and take things at my own pace. :)

I have 82 and I am posting every day because I love making videos ❤❤❤
Whoa! that’s amazing. I wish it came as easily to me. I feel like Cindy Brady on her quiz show most of the time.
Same, making video is so fun 😂
We will get there, even though I have 356subscribers you have really motivated me
I'm glad. It took a long time for me to get to 356 subscribers. However it is still a big number. Just imagine 356 people in a room listening to you.
We’re on the best side of 50! This video is encouraging. I liked it at 2 minutes in. I have almost 200 videos that were recorded live on Periscope before they ended but not even 50 subs. I’m going to keep going. Thank you!
You got this!
Thank you so much for this message. ❤ makes me feel better❤
We are all in this together!
Thanks for your inspiring video, I'm a new UA-cam content creator with 70+ subscribers and it can be tiring at times but I'm keeping it pushing. Your video just encouraged me and I'm grateful. Thank you 🌹
Best of luck!😊
Very inspirational😊
Glad you think so!
Here's my 3 thoughts when im, feeling stuck:
1. One video a week will lead to clarity.
2. Progress over perfection. As an introvert, i learned to punch the fear
3. Action brings change
Success to all of us! let's create rather than consume 👏
Totally agree!
Thank you for sharing this video, you are inspiring us your viewers .You are really good . 👍 I’ll be your new subscriber 😊
I just subscribed now and i am josting down for my channel ❤❤❤
Keep going!
Thank you- I didn’t take it the wrong way…I know what you mean -I agree. 😂
Very inspiring 😊🌻
im your new subscriber thankyou
Thanks for subbing!
Thank you so much for this video❤, i'm just starting out on UA-cam and I am ironically camera shy, never even like taking pictures but you've given me inspiration.
I hate having my picture taken too! Getting used to it, though
Keep going you’re amazing!!🥹🤎
Thank you! Will do!
