Craftsman Nut Splitter Test. Does it work? Worth the $ or is it Junk?

  • In this video I want to test the craftsman universal nut splitter sold at Lowes for $18. This tool looks like a great fast and easy to use alternative for when needing to remove those really hard to removed seized up nuts.

    Lube the tools threads with neversieze. Don't try a grade 8 to start a tool test planning to fail the tool

    I bought one of these a few years back. I only used it on a couple of 3/8 or so nuts. It worked fine. The "chisel" end did show some flattering. I doubt it will work again...on anything.
    Save your money. Buy a bigger breaker bar. Or beer and a curse jar.

    Good for 02 sensor as long it bites I'll come out with hammer i would warm up vehicle first for exhaust get hot if you doing a seized 02
