@@colinetrambley5317 unfortunately the guy just didn't take care of it and any true buyer wouldn't wanna give him more then 45 to 5500 at most for that car as a whole I understand why Gavin did. I paid 5500 for my 13 Malibu and had to put work into it had to replace the eco battery and now have to replace the drive tension pulleys. Just seems like the things you get with used cars it's a beautiful Corvette with work. But I wouldn't have paid what he did for it. But like I said I get why he did.

procharger doesnt wear rings out unless you run it low on oil lmao...id bet $100 he never touched the engine let alone replaced rings like he said he did

There’s a specific procedure for checking accurate oil level on a dry sump Z or GS… Must be at full temp and has to be engine off for 5 minutes, but no longer than 10

Dry sumps dont show oil on the dip stick when theyre off. Youre suppose to check them while its running... its not like a wet sump that you find on base models. lol

Ayo I’ve literally gone through my car having the body separate from the whole drivetrain (c6 vette). I’d say toss a catch can on it and maybe even throw a new oil pump in it. When you take out the engine go with all BTR products, and do some overkill lifters in it as they like to sound like sewing machines. I almost know everything there is to know about those cars, hmu if you have questions lmaoo

I'm sure i'm late to the party but that's a dry sump car. Oil needs to be up to temp, and then you need to shut the car off and wait 5-20 minutes before checking the oil per GM spec. Otherwise it will never show anything on the dipstick. Don't overfill it! lol

Daily driven for 2 years by a drifter, shouldve just tucked tail and drove back home . That cars name is now the Money Pit.
So you need to check the manual on how to check the oil level on that car. Looks to me like it is dry sump oil system and that only came on the manual GS's. I know on my LS7 dry sump z06 if i just pull the dip stick It would look like I have no oil level, but the fact is my oil level would have been fine. On my car you need to heat up oil to at least 175F and then shut the engine off. Then wait 5 min then take oil level. I'm guessing it is the same on your dry sump LS3, but check the manual. Tons of posts on forums of ignorant people overfilling oil and causing engine damage.
Your first mistake was purchasing ANYTHING from Statesboro💀
