What is going ON bro?! 😂😭 20x Entries at www.itsjusta6.com is LIVE NOW! 🙌🏽
Who taught you how to start a car? it fired tap the pedal a few times to feed some fuel into the 1200 hp motor tap tap tap that's what she said
Fingers crossed for the Vette!
I think you just need a bearing bro, measure your hub bore and see if part stores have em🤙🏼
It’s common on trailers cuz you can’t really hear it squeaking from your cab!
Honestly id be willing to bet when ol dude decided to play chicken the shock of the impact and locking down the brakes probably weakened the hub and bearings.
Dude the universe just doesn’t want you to tow a trailer 😂
😂😂😂 💯 truth
I was gonna say the exact same thing
At least that trailer im telling ya! Every time he takes it out the thing throws a fit lmao
😂
The universe wants to keep
Him off the road!!!
Gavin’s luck with towing is my luck with the giveaways 😂
Just like today’s winner though, it may take years, but in theory, everyone can win 😂
Did Gavin finally get a dash cam???????? We are soo proud of you Gavin!!!
I did!! 😂 thank the Lord Vantrue came through with the sponsorship!
Youve needed one since the original wreck with the F-350@@itsjusta6official
You can over grease bearings. If you continue to pump grease over and over after short trips. The grease can pack in there and stretch the metal with the heat. Causing it to eventually snap. I've towed MANY trailers for this both small trailers and semi trailers. Realistically, you're supposed to remove the old grease when putting in the new for hubs.
Bro I swear y’all can’t catch a break going anywhere 🤣 almost getting mugged, forgetting track days, and now trailer problems 💀
But HUGE congratulations to the Saleen winner! They seem so stoked and it looks like it’s going to a very good home with such a deserving person!
Kenneth you are amazing bro! I’m happy to be giving a car to yet another winner 😂 happy you have been enjoying yours!!
Too much grease will cause too much pressure and push your seal out. You pretty much will have to remove the old bearings/race and inspect the axle shaft before a new bearing can be installed.
I know trailors are expensive and all but given the amount of issues you've had with this one maybe it's time for a better trailor
trailer not trailor...and the only issues theyve had have been self induced minus this
@Shadow0fd3ath24 cool my phone auto corrected if you have a problem please keep it to yourself
@@kngsnz1684 your phone's dumb as bricks
@@kngsnz1684all he did was correct your spelling of one singular word
@@kngsnz1684bro took it personal
Congrats to the winner!! He looks serious thrilled on FaceTime! Also, count the breakdown as a blessing - it could’ve been a tragedy on the interstate! ❤
You never know what could’ve happened! Everything happens for a reason!!
You took “ride until the wheels fall off” a little too literal. 😂 Jokes aside, i hope you get everything up and going with the trailer soon brother.
Gavin you can only pump so much grease into the bearings before it blows the rear seal out flinging grease all over the brake assembly. I’ve repaired these many times. Chances are the old bearing parts are seized into the spindle from heat but you can get them off with heat. All you need is a new drum assembly that normally come with pre greased bearings.
Came here to say this. He may have pumped too much grease in and it pushed out that inner seal.
Gavin bro, if you start thinking back and gettin in your feelings man, don't. You definitely have gremlins following you but you've got the strength and ambition of 100 men. Seeing you keep such a level head in such stressful situations has honestly inspired me to work on me. As always man, keep pumpin out these bangers, can't wait to see 6 hit 6 mil
🙌🏽🙏🏽 much love bro! Always gotta stay level headed and keep working!
Either you axle nut was loose enough for the bearing to have play or the bearings were just plum wore out. All the shiny grease all over everything is what use to be the bearings lol. Little tip. When ever you go on trips tap your hand on all the trailer wheels as you stop or arrive places. It will warn you of this stuff way before this happens. Brakes sticking or bad wheel bearings. But make sure to tap like it’s hot all the time because if your not expecting it you can burn the hell out of your fingers.
Every time you may think something bad happens I can’t help but think of how incredibly BLESSED you are. Everything you’ve been through seems to pave the way for some mind blowing things to happen It seems you always move forward
6:26 i like how jess is just so nonchalant *goes back to her phone doesnt even care to check the mirrors*
Poe: *enters full panick mode in the back*
Someone was looking over you bro, everything happened for a reason, I got literal chills when you said you weren’t meant to race that day haha, but anyway happy holidays man, be safe and keep up the pressure, I’m sure I speak for a lot of people including myself when I say you’ve saved a lot of people, your videos have got me through some of my darkest times and I’ll never be able to thank you enough. You help fuel the passion for cars as well as the drive to keep going forward. Thank you for just being you and holding this UA-cam family together. I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know 🙏🏻 P.S if you’re hiring I’ll move states😂 much love from Ohio.
Beautifully said for so many of us!!
Bro told the wheel “wait come back” and the wheel was like “alright FINE” with an attitude too😂 13:38
17:18 The "Hood Ajar" warnin lmao THERE AINT NO HOOD TO BE AJAR XD
Gavin with your luck and that trailer maybe its time for a upgrade
This one isn’t bad I thought 😅😂 Maybe sundowner will help us get it fixed up!
Kaden deserves this!! That’s my little cousins he’s been going through a lot and his mom just recently passed. He deserves it ❤
Thank you for making videos Gavin, I truly enjoy the content 🔥🔥
I feel like every trip... its either the truck or the trailer to take an L. haha
Glad to see one of the day1 supporters get the love. Plus he needed it atm.
Damn bro. That's a wild time
“ is he talking about us smoking” love how you automatically thought that😂 also you should tap in with Matt’s off-road recovery for his competition!!!
Never heard “sheared” so much in my life 🤣🤣🤣
16:57-17:43 just satan throwing a fit cuz he couldn’t go run a 7 at the track 😂
“Wait come back” TIRE LITERALLY CAME BACK AND FELL 🤣
There is such a thing as too much grease, but I'm not sure what damage it can cause.
Damn that's nuts, haven't seen that happen in a long time but last time I saw it (like 12yrs ago) was when a shop didn't tighten the spindle nut properly but like you it came off in a safe spot. Also Three Way Campers might be a place to check to source parts for the Trailer: 1400 Cobb Pkwy N, Marietta, GA 30062 is their address - I used them when I would do maintenance on my uncle's trailers.
Gavin bro you are hilarious. I was cracking up with that moment you had with Satan in the video. All I could think about was Eleanor when she didn't wanna start from the Gone In 60's remake with Nicholas Cage. 🤣
The Dolph line at 20:00 with the Dolph wrap is perfect lol
Aye you finally got a dashcam
Congratulations on the win. Awesome
Aayyee idaho reppin 😅 That's dope. Hope to see it around 👍 Sucks about the trailer though 🙃
Gavin reminded me of Peter Griffin doing the whole laugh, awwww laugh awwww moment 🤣🤣🤣
My best guess is that you over filled the bearings. If you just pumped grease in instead of taking it off and repacking the bearing that way, you’ll create too much pressure. It’ll blow seals and wear things off
At work we always tell the operators. If youre gonna break it make it spit out a part number. You took that saying very literal 😂😂
A wise man Luke combs once said “when it rains it pours” 🤣🤣🤣
@itsjusta6 hey Gavin, otr driver here, seems like you were laxle leak or breaks seized and you rode for quite some time on it. That being said just in case, make sure you got a really good fire extinguisher with for something like that. A brake fire with rubber tires involved is seriously hard to put out.
Love how positive they are for being so young, in these shitty situations.
CONGRATS BUD!!
The way Gavin ran up to the tire when it fell off 😂😂😂😂
This trailer build finna be lit 😂
If you drive trucks for a living you know this feeling 😭😂😂😂. Time to start making calls.
19:31 was so funny for no reason 😭
Two possibilities here Gavin, from what i can see either A you over greased the axle. It happens to the best of us ive seen this first hand. Case B your axle alignments are off and like you said hitting potholes sheared the hub, through all the grease overheated the assembly and through the wheel.
Maybe because you’ve gotten in like 2 accidents towing the trailer 😂
The winner seemed so thrilled. That's amazing 💪🏻💪🏻
Beyond common believe, hitting pot holes wont damage hubs/spindles like this. Most common issue for the hub coming apart like this is over time wear and tear, yes you did the right thing with the grease but if I believe the bearings and hubs need to be inspected at least 3 times a week. I know you all know what yall are doing, just figured it put in my input seeing as I see this all the time being a mobile diesel mechanic in Las Cruces. Also wanted to say I love the content been watching for years. Keep up the good work
Much love
Did you finally get a dashcam?!!!!
I did!! Vantrue came clutch!
Glad everyone is alright.
Dude my best guess is it hit a pot hole the wrong way. I could not imagine any other way honestly bro. Glad you were only 30 min from home instead of 10 hrs. You need to come give me a ride in the 500, I’m like 30 min from you!
Edit: Gav said that same thing I know
hubs go out for no reason at all tbh, and axles do sometimes too...ive had so many go out for no reason and snapped 2-3 axles too
I heard the one guy say that you grease them often. You can actually grease them too much and cause the seals to blow out. You only need 5 or 6 pumps on each bearing every 10,000 miles. Any more than that is too much. If you use the trailer less than 5000 miles per year... You only need 2 or 3 pumps once per year.
After 2 years or 20,000 miles I remove the bearings, clean them and repack with fresh grease. I only use the good ol trusted Lucas Red n Tacky. Never mix brands or types of greases either.
Hope this info helps! Love your channel!
Here’s a small tip for s550s. Tie fishing wire to the emergency release. Pull wire to open trunk
And start up tune needs touched. Cold start shouldn’t be that bad in Georgia tbh
Lack of proper maintenance
Love your channel I’m the same as the kid. My dad’s car on the way home after a rollercoaster of a weekend the transmission went out in a parking lot in Covington Louisiana. Thank y’all for the content. You have gotten me through rough times including now with no job. I have a small UA-cam channel. I have been here since Lucifer and Satan.
You should come to import alliance 2024 in March it’s not all import cars it’s a little bit of everything it’s at ATL motor speed way!
RIP to the trailer wheel, big congrats to the giveaway winner! I can tell he’s grateful and will enjoy it!
Ill drop a like. Not because i enjoy when your stuff breaks but because it helps you fix it. Lol.
Damn bro 😂 I'll pray for ya! Let us watch the actual build video's.
I swear to God bro that trailer is cursed
This man either has the best luck or the worst luck no in between I swear 😂
Just saying trailer was involved in two wrecks while carrying cars. You also mentioned hittibg some pot holes. Might want to check the 3 assemblies along with have gooseneck inspected. Just glad it was caught how it was and nobody was hurt. Goodluck. Hey poe hope your doing well. Merry Christmas to the whole fam.
Just got to love how excited he was for the wheel falling off 😂😂😂
Gavin: wait come back
Wheel: yea sir 🫡
Just doing the good work. Glad I could help keep you safe
with those type spindles, the rear bearing seats from the back side of the hub, the front bearing from the front, my guess, front bearing race failed or came out of its place allowing the back bearing to slide around and off, possibly front bearing just grenaded and same effect, have someone weld along the spindle and grind it back down to specifications, then new bearings seals and brake shoes, possibly the drum as well but it doesnt need an entire axle
When the black car didn't want to start all I could think about was Gone in sixty seconds when the gt 500 wanted to die during the police chase 😂 No no start start 😂
Cool video man, you can tell he is excited
Thank god you stopped when you did😳 I can speak from experience what happens when a wheel falls off like that. My brother was pulling the horse trailer, I was following with draft horse equipment; and bearings failed on the trailer, sending the wheel bouncing into the side of my truck. Took out my mirror and door handle, and bounced clear to the other side of the highway.
Out of curiosity, do you know what kind of axle that was? I used to work for a premier trailer axle manufacturer.
I hope that spindle isn’t marred or else you need a new axle/spindle. Had this happen towing a truck from montana to Kansas!
We made it but had to get a new hub but was able to salvage the spindle. Hardest part was getting bearing races off the spindle 🙄
Love the xmas pants lol
Itsjusta6 Awesome Video and Congratulations to Kaden on winning the Giveaway Saleen Mustang and I think it's awesome that it's going to a Long time Supporter and I'm sorry to hear that your Trailers wheel broke off when you were on your way to Race Satan and Lucifer and I'm glad nobody was hurt
Made it only to Holly springs exit. Thank was a good drive home to have to limp it. Lucky mostly straight shot!
I had this happen with my boat trailer before (wheel bearing blew out and tire launched into the ditch) we were able to replace the wheel bearing on the side of the highway fairly easily (luckily no axel damage) however the boat trailer had no trailer brakes so I’m not sure if you could have done that with this trailer
I do construction and tried a truck and trailer and I was on the highways and looked to the same side yours was in and saw it was smoking and took the next exit and I could see the wheel wobbling while I was going to the next available stop and we eventually had to limp it home tire ended up Falling off when we tried backing it up but we just got a new axle and that’s fixed the issue and I agree I think the potholes were the cause
If you do end up rebuilding this trailer, I'd go all the way and put some heavier duty axles under it. If it has happened once with the amount of weight, it'll happen again.
Here's hoping that we get a build update on the 1967 Camaro soon. Only seen that one once or twice in the last few videos, before that.. nothing. Starting to wonder if the Camaro will ever be a main build again, or like every other rare gem of its era left to sit in storage and never touched.
I work in a shop that fixes trailer bearings. There are many things that can cause the brake drum to come off. If the nut is too tight it will cause excessive heat and the bearing s will fail. Best to replace all the bearings and tighten the nut snug, then back it off a 1/4 turn.
Ffffuuuuuucccckkkk
Guess the only hope I have now is to win that beater vette 😂
the world is keeping you from racing 'em cuz they're called Lucifer and Satan LOL
Hey gavin dont know if you’ll see this. I work on semi trucks and trailers for a living and weve had vehicles have bearings blow up and fall apart like your trailer. I recommend disassembling the hub and cleaning it and inspecting the spindle for any damage, replace ALL components with new including brakes
If the spindle is scored or damaged it will need to be cut off an replaced by a spindle company
Looks like somebody doesn't do maintenance on their trailer, you need to grease those wheel bearings regularly or this will happen. That bearing was frozen for a minute
Hey I believe it just needs new bearings and a drum pros do all 4 of them and make sure the castle nuts aren’t too tight psa I work at a trailer repair shop in Michigan
Gavins luck with that trailer is like my luck with women 😂
Looks like Gavin finally got a dash cam 😂😂
Pink sweater and Christmas jammies to move 3000hp worth of cars 🥰
😂 lol 😂 you got me.
I think he’s done more repairs on this trailer than anything 😂😂
“MY TRACKER WON’T RUN RIGHT “🤠
My man, life just doesn’t like you 😂 much love from Iraq 🇮🇶
Definitely looks like a wheel bearing failure. Had it happen on my truck and the caliper was holding it on
Typically trailer dont have standard hubs. The drum is the hub its probably from it either being to loose or to tight a wore a bearing out causing the damage. I would recommend replacing all bearings just to be on the safe side
W Burley Idaho, ima see this beast driving around on the daily 👌
I wish I could say that's the first time I've seen a full wheelbearing/axle failure on a trailer but it's not🤣😭 I've unfortunately had a similar account happen while hauling jetskis and even a tractor once. It shouldn't be TOO horrible to fix up just really goddamn annoying. Cost isn't fun either especially if you weren't planning on replacing the axle💀💀 Hopefully it's the only thing that'll keep you from gapping fools at the strip and in mexico Gavin, good luck with the repairs and I hope they go by quick!
Sidenote edit: Loving the video editing style and the inclusion of the memes. Shit had me cackling in my office lmao
Never been this early before, love your videos though
I had a similar experience with the wheel falling off. This summer, I saw a tire pass me and thought, hmm that's weird. turn to find out that was a wheel off a camper I was pulling. The whole hub just snapped off and just poof lol. Pulled off and rigged up the axle so it wouldn't drag, pulled it to a shop & what I found out was that it was overweight. The tires were fine and were 14 ply so they were durable enough for the weight, but the axles, bearings and hubs were not lol.
Never listen to your lady when something is wrong they always think it’s okay too keep going lmao
