I’ve never thought of relating cleaning to giving value or dignity to the people around me. It’s always been about the thing or area I’m cleaning rather than the people. I love how Mystie goes deeper and gets to the root which is usually an attitude that needs adjusting.
Thank you for the encouragement, Mystie. My problem with cleaning the bathroom has been more about apathy than being grossed out. But the principle of valuing the work still has the same outcome. When I focus on giving my people dignity and valuing them as important "guests" in my home, I will spend more time and effort cleaning up that important space.
