Absolutely THE BEST FEMALE GROUP in Korea , UNDERRATED because their company is not part of the BIG ONES. They have been called UGLY because they broke "the korean beauty standards" They write most part of their songs . Their music is not only catchy with NO sense like other groups' songs . Mamamoo is the only K-pop girl group I stan. Those girls can sang not sing... super talented with substance.
Number one is SNSD, aka Girls' Generation, then in no particular order are Mamamoo, Keembo, which is all that's left of Spica, and G-friend, which is among the missing now too. The Korean's are too misogynistic, I'm afraid to really appreciate girl groups the way they should.

Dingga is actually about how during the pandemic we were all separated and stuck at home. We didn't even get enough vitamin d cus we stayed inside. We spent so much on delivery food and binge watched shows. They just want to already be able to go out driving with friend, going for drinks or ice cream. Very good song and cute video but in a more grown up way. I love Mamamoo!!!!
Hey thanks for this little explanation…I only just came across these incredible ladies because of a previous reaction these 3 guys did on FORESTELLA … the next item was a Killing Voice episode …..I AM OFFICIALLY A MAMAMOO FAN NOW! WOW, WOW, WOW! 😮 Just like Forestella, who are now looked after by A.C.E. ‘s small company since 2021( BEAT INTERACTIVE) which is run by a woman Kim Beat, I agree MAMAMOO should be better known world-wide, but it’s a struggle when ,as a little fish , you swim with sharks in a big ocean…❤l
The Whitney comment was spot on. Her name is Kim Yongsun and she goes by Solar as her stage name. Solar's audition piece for Mamamoo's label RBW was Whitney's I Will Always Love You. It takes as much balls as talent to pull that off and that's Solar for you. She's Mamamoo's leader and eldest member.
There's no MV for I Miss You. Their best performance of the song was on the competition tv show Queendom. Fortunately MNET doesn't block reactions to Queendom.
Mamamoo are pretty much universally considered to be the top female vocal group in kpop and I don't blame you for ranking them highly based on a short sampler of their music. Imo they're one of if not the best girl group of all time in any language, genre or era. Your diversity comment was also perceptive. MMM's diverse discography includes jazz, swing, r&b, hip hop, latin pop, bossa nova, reggaeton, EDM, ballads, pop dance tracks and more.

There is no one else like them ever!!! Look at their fan favorite stage performances. There are a lot of fantastic mindblowing performances by the 4 of them. They never show up just to play nicely. They only show up to TEAR THE HOUSE DOWN. Hwasa told Moon to do that growl you liked. By the way, I'm sure others have told you how much these girls were sent home from auditions (for various reasons). Over and over they faced rejection. Together they are the best of the best!!! Watch other shows where other K-pop artists are in AWE watching them on stage.

The MAMAMOO members(as of 2020) are among some of the most-credited idols in K-Pop. Moonbyul actually has the most songwriting credits of all 3rd generation female idols (at 65 credits for this artical, but at 111 as of 2023), since she writes her own raps in almost all of the group’s songs.
And more(songwriting, composition on Illella).
Solar has 25+ credits to her name. She also wrote the lyrics and composition for her solo song, “Spit it Out”. Composer on "Honey"
Hwasa, meanwhile, has 27+ credits. The lyrics to her solo song, “María”, were praised for its inventive and meaningful wordplay. ("Somebody" w/Loco)
Wheein has at least 9 (that I can confirm, probably more) as of 2023.

Mamamoo's expertise is performing live!! I've been to their recent concert, even their live videos don't even do justice how insane their live vocals are.
moomoos are so loyal because we know with absolute certainty that they blow everyone else out of the water in terms of raw talent and dedication to their craft. as a fandom, we are fed more content in a year than most groups in five. i strongly suggest you do a deep dive, including their b-sides and all of their solo projects. there are songs that i've liked more than others, but to my knowledge, they've never put out a bad song because they're so involved in every step of the production process. you won't be disappointed, promise!

You want to catch the I miss you from Queendom, there are two versions. One version has other people on the show reacting to them singing, the other does not. It is amazing just how much respect they receive from the other artists.
So glad you three blokes are appreciating Mamamoo and not just for their looks. It surprised me to find out that the overwhelming majority of Mamamoo fans are female.
All four members have solo releases and there is a wealth of material as a group. Always use their UA-cam channel for their music videos as as you get English lyrics and they get the views to their channel.
There are a few pre debut songs but I would start with Mr Ambiguous and Piano Man as these were their debut releases. Obviously, that is a suggestion only, which ever order you watch their MV's is up to you.

Because of your video’s outro BGM, I really want to recommend “Where are we now” “Paint Me” and “Destiny” ballad versions. For me, it’s been already more than 7 years since I fell in love with them. Dingga was their 'end of the pandemic' song. So: they want to go out with friends, their only friend is a fly, not enough vitamin D, too much money wasted on delivery fees, and so on. It's certainly how I was feeling at that time 😊
Mamamoo is at the top of best vocalists in the world. They do every genre and even write some of that music and lyrics. I Miss You does not have an MV. However, there are some live performances, the most watched is probably the one from their Queendom contest win. (Declacomanie and Destiny are Queendom also) The rest of the songs have MVs and Live performances as this Dingo was live. There is also a new video posted 2 months ago. Mamamoo Hit Songs live collection which was actually a live performance with a band on the Hwasa Show(Hwasa is the one on the right) and they perfomed 1llella a new song, a medley of other songs and ended it with Paint Me which is just as good as I Miss You.
Listen to the I Miss You that they performed in Queendom. Also do the Immortal Song Medley. You guys will not regret checking out these 4 amazing women.

They aren't underrated at all... They won every possible competition and they are always praised for their flawless vocal performances... They are the most recognized vocal group alongside Red Velvet...
@@guilhermev3545 They haven't won many competitions at all I think, partly because they don't participate in competitions much. Their highest attendance for a competition show was probably Immortal Songs 2? Even there they've only won 2-3 times in ~13+ appearances?
BIG Mama and Mamamoo are probably the two most acknowledged female vocal groups alongside others like Sistar.
I think that as long as Mamamoo don't have the same worldwide fame+recognition that popular groups like BTS, Blackpink, or other Big 3/4 company groups have, then it's fair to call them underrated in comparison especially considering their immense talent.

I agree with some things you said and they may be anything, but they were never "underrated". Even when they were rookies they were highly praised. Yes! They are my favorite too! Just saw them in Chicago and I felt blessed to hear and see them live. They are even better live and give really special adlibs for award shows or whatever they are performing for. So the only correct thing to do after this is to react to MAMAMOO’s Killing Voice medley. Killing voice is a Korean competition show where different singers cover hit songs from a legendary Korean artist and a win is selected. MAMAMOO has probably the group with the most appearances on the show and Killing Voice helped them become well know for their powerful and impactful live vocals. So they covered many of the songs in a medley during their concert quite a few years ago. The vocal endurance and charismatic stage presence of these four women are unmatched.
The program you're referring to is Immortal Songs 2, and the medley they need to watch is their Immortal Songs Medley performed during their 2017 Moosical: Curtain Call concert, I believe.

One of the best experiences in my life is having been able to watch them live when they did their Asian tour last year. So worth it! No one compares. Mics were on that night 100%! No other kpop girl group can do that same! They really are the Big Mama of their generation

Mamamoo have the best vocals in the industry. There's a younger group that debuted at the same company (RBW), called Purple Kiss. Purple Kiss also have the best vocalists in the industry. I think it's clear that RBW values vocal talent.

Killing voice and Killing verse are amazing channel to discover new artists
I discovered bibi and leehi by those channels, and they became one of my favorite artists
The rapper, was on a show where she told, that she is a trained singer, and got into rap because of the group, her passion is singing, you should try and react to her singing.
While Hwa Sa in this was actually sick, reason why her voice is not up to what it normally is.
Another one to add! They won on a survival show called "Queensdom" in the first season, and they did a ton of amazing stuff, you should try and listen to.
