I got this with 117K miles on it on 2018 and I still have it put like 60K miles on it and still drives like new. Irony is, when first owner sold me, he said everything is stock and he hasnt changed a bit. I am at 174K miles, tyres are still like new, I still got factory tires, everytime I think of changing it, I look at it and think this has like a whole lot life on it. This car will go forever it seems
I got a 2012 EXLfrom my mechanic. I test drove it and wow. I was impressed. I’ve never owned a Honda. Great turning radius. Fast, comfortable. It’s got everything you need nothing fancy. Reliable no accidents one owner. He’s been doing the maintenance since 2017 and prior to that at dealer. Highway miles. It was funny I said so will you be doing the PPI lol obviously he’s my mechanic and if I had to go elsewhere to get a PPI then that means I don’t trust my mechanic 🤣 so I’ve been taking my cars to him for years. And I refer a lot of people to him as well. He’s the honest mechanic that won’t over price and do things you don’t need. So I feel very confident about the car. I pick it up soon. He’s having all the maintenance done prior to me and detailing the vehicle. Excited to get it.
I bought a 14 23k on clock.Like brand new, I could have bought brand new but prefer simplicity of natural aspiration and 5 sp vs 1.5t and cvt transmission
Thats a very nice car. If I was looking for a good cheap car this would be it. They only go for 10k-15k for all of these features, but it has under 200 horsepower
Mine is super torquey. I can spin the front tires just pressing the the gas to 2k no joke. Very nimble handling because of its amazing weight displacement. Got mine 2013 108k for 10k. Very clean rust free
So you think the shake was the compressor being on for the AC? I was thinking suspension or rotors til you said that. Hopefully its not something more serious.
@@jonpragerHave you ever had an issue with the VTC actuator? I have a 2014 with 206k miles and so far no problems but that actuator is the only thing on the car I’ve got even a remote worry about.
I used deet spray on mosquito repellant. Use a lint-free paper towel to wipe over it, going in one direction, just once, a third of the lens at a time. Wipe in the same direction. Then after it dries apply uv protectant. No sanding.
I have a 2019 crv lx cloth and that thing is way worse than these older ones. Way cheaper made and a lot more uncomfortable to sit in. 2017+ CRV's lost their magic.
Nice! I just bought a 2013 crv with 88k miles. It runs like a dream.
$15k @@PKV777
I just bought one with 206K miles, it also runs like a dream.
88k miles for a 2013, sounds like somebody babied it.
as long as it works, it's all good.
Mine too
@@nanamensah3730do you still have it? If so, any issues?
Just got 1.
Drives like a dream.
Smooth nice.
Master of a car.
Thank you honda
This is the car I`m saving to buy in a couple of months and export to my country. It`s so nice on so many levels
May God give you this car brother. I bought this car recently and it'd worth the money

Another great review and very informative.
Wow!! This is a only used SUV to afford it!
I have this exact model in 2023…with 58k on the clock.
That will last you forever!
I bought a 14 23k on clock.Like brand new, I could have bought brand new but prefer simplicity of natural aspiration and 5 sp vs 1.5t and cvt transmission
Thank you for the review! I will be looking at one of these tomorrow!
Good review, I like hearing an Anerican perspective. I'll not get anything but Honda, trade my 2017 Civic in for one of these.
Its awd stays on at all times with the 4th gen. And the awd light only lights up when something is wrong with the awd system

I totally agree.. might actual look for one since I'm looking
Literally a 2.4 Honda engine, they don’t make a better more efficient engine

I have exactly the same car, I assume it is also AWD. The MPG is 22 city and 29 max for highway. It doesn't give you 37 mpg.
The UK spec will get you 55mpg from the diesel version(that is a UK gallon, which is 20% bigger.) About 46mpg (US) which is pretty impressive.
Got an chance to get in a 2012 with 118K same trim package. The 2.4 is known for having a problem with the VTC about a $1000 repair.
I’m trading my 2015 crv in for one of these so I can have an automatic transmission over a cvt and not have direct port injection.
So you think the shake was the compressor being on for the AC? I was thinking suspension or rotors til you said that. Hopefully its not something more serious.
Not 100% sure. Possibly could’ve been a/c compressor.
Great review
I recently purchased a 2013 Honda CRV AWD with 115K miles done for $13.2K.. Did i overpay ?
😬🤷🏾♂️ Can’t really say. That doesn’t sound TOO bad I reckon.
I paid $20k for a 2015 crv with 136k miles on it almost two years ago.
I bought 2014 from toyata campany. I pay $16. 110 mileage. It runs like a dream
What was that voice when you lifted the good?
How do I change the oil?
Thanks for this!
The only problem i have on this gen4 model is headliner sagging.
Makes absolutely no sense how the 2013 has a seat back pocket on the driver’s side but the 2024 one doesn’t lol
How long does the 128k miles will last you ?
I’ve seen a couple of these cross 250k miles with no issue, but these are also pretty inexpensive to fix up compared to newer vehicles.
My 2013 has 238k miles. CD player doesn't work, everything else does. Still use it everyday, including long road trips.

@@jonprager wow, that is great!....just bluetooth an iPhone or something.
Here at Regal Honda on Lakeland Hills Boulevard there is a CRV EX L 2012 with 468K in front of the dealership. Call them and confirm.
Mine seems to make like a groaning noise when I accelerate vs the whine sound in this video any idea why?
Possibly rear differential. May need fluid change
@ thank you ma
Thanks!
Just purchased 2013 crv awd with 92k miles for 13k. Did I over pay?!?!😮
Nah, that ain’t bad.
The only thing that sucks on 4th Gen is the headlights hazing

Quiero comprar esa camioneta honda CRV ex-l awd 2013
Muy buena y económica, recomendada

Yep went to that over worked under power 1.5 turbo my 2018 burned oil at 100k while my 2012 is at 160k still running very good
@@octaviodominguez7772 base trim that gen still had the 2.4. After 2020, all had 1.5
