I have got to update my V1F when I get off work. Thanks for this vid. I will set mine up as per your instructions. Im glad they gave us reverse thrust.
I got home updated the firmware and followed your setup. Worked great. This was a great firmware update. Thanks for the setup instructions. Your the man.
I noticed sometimes the reverse thrust will not trigger and I’ll have to do the troubleshoot turtlebeach put out to get my reverse thrust detents to trigger. (It involves of unplugging the velocity one rebooting the Xbox and Msfs to where it’s fully loaded then reconnecting the velocity one.) is this a bug you have experienced? It just doesn’t read buttons”41-44” at times.
@@Pilot0083 For some odd reason, it doesn’t work for me. More specifically, when mapping the levers, they are not recognized when scanning for the “detent” position. FWIW, I have updated the firmware, unplugged the controller and plugged it back in, but no dice.

@@digitalsoundman66 did you find a solution to this issue? I’m just now getting a chance to update my firmware and hoping I don’t have this problem. Definitely a pain to re configure things when you hop back on the sim.
Great video. Better in my opinion is to validate it to "toogle to reverse thrust" with "on press" then you can controll your reverse thrust with your lever. Works fine with the new update. Pull the levers completly back. It goes on reverse thrust mode. Then controll your reverse by pushing them forwards. Stop reverse by pulling it completly back and push them forward for throttle.
@@Pilot0083 yes. But it only works if you pull the levers complety back and then the needle of the engine is nearly by zero you push it forwards it works. If the needle shows more than 30 percent the mode between reverse and normal thrust does not change. I have to figure out how to solve this little problem. Sorry for my bad english. I hope you understand what I want to say.
