Someone within Estwing told me last year that they have been in talks with a company that forges Titanium and they are going to be making them for Estwing and bringing them to market hopefully this year 2024 .
Look at the nail not the head of the hammer you're driving in will be a whole lot better and it won't matter whichever Hammer you're holding always look at the nail well that's what works for me anyway
The other use for your new hammer is you don’t have to bend right down to pick up a piece of framing timber, you use the claw end of the hammer into the timber and pick it up that way, framers use that trick all the time.

Sorry Jason, just had to laugh, when I did my apprenticeship n the late 70’s my boss at the time spent several hours with me in my first week, I had to hammer 6” nails in while whistling colonel bogey, just to get me used to the hammer, it was a hickory shafted Stanley at the time, now I have 2 estwings the first one you were bought the other is the Estwing EB-19S Ultra Series Framing Hammer with Long Handle Black 19oz, great hammer. To de nail I use a DEWALT CLAW BAR 10", much better than using the claw of the hammer.
Got a stiletto a year ago. It was expensive but my elbow has stopped getting sore. Love the titanium hammer.

Only generation nailgun could produce a carpenter who can't use a hammer or know what a 4 inch nail is.

My dad had me nailing 6" nails in timber when I was 8 when I used to work with him. Think that's where my love of woodwork came from.
