    Great video, Eric! Super informative and clear. Definitely gonna try out these techniques on Lake Ontario - hopefully while the fish are still in the harbours! Been trying to break the ice on these fish... Will let you know how it goes🤙🏼

    Bad-ass!!! I want to come out someday to fish with you!! What is your Guide site? Gotta see what you charge, and next time I visit family in Indiana, I might have to make a trip north......

    I've got two of those carbon x's on my open water rods, and one on an ice rod. Love all three of them.

    Great content as always. Planning on traveling from northern MN, was curious if you had any spots around the racine harbors that would be great that you wouldn’t mind sharing.

    Love that you gave a Bonus 4th method. Beat Down Smack Down. So, curious is the fishing better now than when you were a kid?

    Those crank baits are awesome… using them I had already caught 4 browns and one steelhead but I also had lost a bunch of fish unfortunately😅

    Hmmm The KVD seen here looks like a standard Squarebill, but that bait, according to KVD runs 3'-6' deep. The video says the bait dives 6'-8' on a long cast, implying it is a Squarebill Deep, which KVD says dives to 9', which is probably a max depth.

      @wibigfishcom  2 роки тому +1

      No I’m using a standard 1.5 square bill and yes on a long cast it dives 8 feet ….. I see my crank on Livescope and it’s typically 6-8 feet down.

      I see what your saying but it’s not as easy as it looks…..
      I don’t fight technology I adapt with it to make me the best most efficient angler on the water. That seems to piss some folks off because they are jealous of my success and how easy I make it look at times… well trust me it’s not as easy as it looks.
      The guys in the NBA make it look really easy to slam a basketball but some folks will simply never have the skill nor ability to do that.
      Same holds true with fishing but it’s hard for some people to hear that.. boat control, pin point accuracy with moving fish, triggering fish to strike, and having an ability to find fish and catch them consistently.
      I’ve been doing this well before Livescope making a living dedicating my life to this craft. Thinking and doing things outside the box or the norm here on the Great Lakes.
      Everyone’s entitled to their opinion …

    A lot of us probably don't have boats. Hopefully the fish are near the shore in the harbors.
